Hey, are painted models required for the fantasy/40k tournaments? It won't be a problem, they just weren't last year-I just wanted to check. Also, are games done by kill points like last year? Are there any specifically banned models? How much different will the 40k tournament setup be from last years? Please feel free to PM me, if needed

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

So this is a team tournament then, as the Adepticon rules seem to suggest a team game? Sounds cool. How will teams be chosen?

Galorn, you know the Adepticon Team Tournament missions assume and are only designed to work with teams, right? How does a single person play a mission which (for example) requires a scoring unit from EACH team mate to be in a quadrant to hold it? Or a mission where only one team mate's units are worth KPs?

I think you'd be much better off using the Adepticon Championship primer missions. They're nice and clean and designed for singles games.

I sent an email to join up for fantasy and 40k: what are the mission plans for fantasy?

And are we doing 4 rounds for 40K? And if we change our mind a few days before the tournament of which army we want to play, can we send you an email about the army switch?

Fantasy will be out of the base book (no watchtower)

40k is 3 rounds. and switching armies is fine.

Hello, I am going to PAX and was thinking of playing in the Warhammer tourney.
Will the Warhammer tourney allow a Chaos Dwarfs army?
If so, which set of rules should I use?
Thanks.

I'm afraid not in the tournament sorry. But feel free to swing through and try to get a game in anyway.

Is this put on by PAX, and would it show up on the Normal/West PAX this year?

The answer to your question is... Sort of. They will want to have Miniature wargaming at PAX prime, but would need a local to organize it.

Could you elaborate?

It seems pretty simple and straightforward.

PAX evidently would like to have mini wargaming events present, but the PAX organizers don't have the right resources (tables, terrain, TO/judges) to do it themselves. Thus they are open to working in conjunction with a local club or store to do it for them.

For PAX East, that's the 'Arvard 'Ardboyz. And from what Galorn just posted, it sounds like there is not yet anyone filling that role for PAX Prime.

Hey, I'm changing my fantasy army from Chaos Warriors to Skaven. Do I need to send an email too, or is letting you know on here fine? I already sent the email to pre-register

At least as far as I know correct. I believe PAX prime will have a PP presence any way.

That's fine Mostly I just needed a headcount via Pre reg, the actual arm folks are using is mostly for reference, and will be collated on the Day of.

Ah, duh. Yeah, I should have assumed that PP (who are right in Seattle, no?) would have the PP events covered.

Just sounds like the option of WH/40k is still open for someone to run it.

Alright, clears it up. I thought pax was looking for volunteers to run it, but they had the stuff. Hey, galaxy Gobbo is starting up, and they are in seattle...
