Gentleman,
As of yesterday I have finished another 40k army to add to my collection. The army will be played as either Chaos SM or Vanilla SM, with the possibility of having additional units added. So far, I am pleased with what I have done. The total army consists of roughly just over 50 models. It took me roughly 4 months to complete. If you are interested in the progress, I have a little P&M Blog Here. With that said, I am no expert painted at all, I believe my best painting is still only to a table-top standard. With that said, I am proud of my custom banners (made using Photoshop CS3), as well as my little DA green markings for each model, some of which represent companies/squads that the units came from when they were part of the Dark Angels, check my P&M blog to read about the fluff. I also used older ed. bolters for the marines (not pistols) to hopefully give the army an older feel. I have tried my best to model some battle damage/scarring on the troops as well.

Always, Thank you for your time and enjoy!

I love seeing the old school retro colours for the Dark Angels. I used to own some black with reds myself.

Would be good to see some individual close up shots of the characters and a few select marines.

Great job! The Fallen are an interesting bit of fluff in the least, and to see them represented en masse is a great treat. Your painting is above standard table top IMO. The banners are superb as well.

The Fallen are the Dark Angel's most closely guarded secret. None but the trusted brothers of the Inner Circle even know of their existence. Share their burden by joining in their knowledge of that most terrible of truths: Summary of the Fallen

Thank you very much gents. I am going to try and get some close up pictures of the Special Characters as requested, although I am using my Droid X as a camera. Thank you all for your comments, definitely makes me feel all warm and smushy on the inside to know that I don't suck at painting!

I love the use of so many different kits to make one cohesive army. I consider myself a tabletop standard painter, these pics demolish my painting skills. Great job, I'll look forward to more pics.
