Subject: Working on my Space Marines Chapter - Aegis Guard
Still working on the background, basically nothing hidden or dark or requiring special rules. They are an Imperial Fists successor chapter, the Aegis Guard, specifically created to secure/bolster Imperial space.
I only have a few finished - Table top quality is what I'm after. I like how they came out, been pretty fun to paint so far:
Still need to finish the base on the sgt:
I gotta finish the Apothecary base as well. I want the whole company to be battle worn and I especially wanted the Apothecary to be dirty:
Anyway, I'm kinda starting out with different techniques. My hands are not steady enough to ever be spectacular, but if anyone has any suggestions I'm all for them.
Thanks for the feedback guys. There has to be something with my lighting for the pictures, because in reality these guys are a little more golden yellow, and less orange. I do use red helmets with a white stripe for veteran sgts. I'm toying with white helmets for the sternguard.
They might be more appealing when I finish a whole squad and post them in numbers. I don't know I just really like how the blue helmets came out.
