I was just looking at the thread HAZZER made and was about to show how to make hyperlinks appear as words and pictures to add on to it, but the tags seem to no longer work. Dreadnote pointed out that they're no longer needed to make a link. But I was wondering how to make links appear as either words or pictures now as when I attempt to do it it appears like this.

Dakka

Even though I typed this.

That is weird...

My link comes up as a link... perhaps you need to add on the http:// ?

dakka vs dakka

Yeah, I think that might be your problem, as my "http:// dakka" seems to have worked

www.dakkadakka.com doesn't automatically become a link though, as the http:// does... http://www.dakkadakka.com

Didn't need it before.
I'll just have to remember that then.

Got it. Thanks Silver.

Yeah, it is quite annoying that I will now have to spend about 2 more seconds typing out a link

All the links in my signature seem to be OK though... can't remember if I added on the http to them though.
