Hello everyone I'm making my first Malifaux army the gremlins led by Som'er teeth Jones. I've read a bit on the pig Boomerang strategy and was wonderign what a good starting crew would be. Thank you all in advance for your answers.

If you're specifically looking to pig boomeranf you'll want:

Sommer box set
4 mosquitoes
hog whisperer
piglets

That's the base. Eventually you'll also want:

Taxidermist + stuffed pigs
Extra war pig ( as the sommer box comes with one)

At 25 Soul stones I would run:

Sommer
2 Mosquitoes
Warpig
Hog Whisperer
2 bayou gremlins

And then you have 4 soul stones to play with. 2 more gremlins? One piglet and one soul stone. Etc.

The idea is you give the big pig reactivate and use one mosquito to souey so he activates twice all over your opponent turn one. Meanwhile the other mosquito and sommer set up shop in back using sommer's abilities to make more gremlins and turning them into mosquitoes and piglets. When your opponent finishes off the big pig, send in the piglets!

I feel I should also mention that Sommer is one of the least forgiving masters for beginners, however, Ophelia is great right out of the box. Starting with her boxed set and working your way up to the pig boomerang might not be a bad idea. I also think that gremlin shooting is a bit more powerful than the pig tactics.

A 25 soul stone crew I've been running recently:

Sommer (master, 3 stone cache)
Ophelia
1 Slop Hauler
4 bayou gremlins
1 mosquito

Additional mosquitoes and gremlins are needed as sommer makes more gremlins and the mosquitoes make more...mosquitoes during the game.

Build a fire for a man and he will be warm for a day; set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain.

Sly Marbo doesn't go to ground, the ground comes to him.

A good strategy for Som'mer Teeth that I have used with some sucess in the past at 35 SS is...

Som'mer Teeth
1 Bayou Gremlin
1 Giant Mosquito
2 Warpigs
2 Hog Whisperes

Bascially what I do is to first activate Som'mer Teeth.
AP 1 - Get Your Bro
AP 2 - Take A Swig
AP 3 - (Useing Reckless Fast) Get Your Bro Again
My Second Activation Will be a Giant Mosquito
AP All - Larva on One of the Wounded Gremlins
My Third Activation Will be the Summoned Giant Mosquito
AP All - Larva on the Other Wounded Gremlin
My Fourth Activation Will be the Last Bayou Gremlin
AP All - Defenseive Stance

By this point in the game, your opponant should have moved the majority of his force up to meet yours and accomplish his objectives.

My Fifth Activation will be a Warpig
AP 1 - Walk
AP 2 - Truffles on a Hog Whisperer
AP 3 - (Useing Reckless Fast) Walk

My Sixth Activation Will be to Do the Same Thing With the Other Warpig, This Time Targeting the Other Hog Whisperer.

My Seventh Activation Will Be a Hogwhisperer.

AP 1 - Stik' in Tha Ass!
AP 2 - What happens here depends on what cards are in your hand and how clumped you've kept your Warpigs and Whisperers. You can either cast Never Happen or Stik'm in Tha Ass! on the other pig

Reactivate the Warpig

AP 1 & 2 - Pig Charge!
AP 3 - Gore

My Seventh Activation Will be the Other Hog Whisperer...

From this point on your rinseing and repeating, don't forget to make use of Sooeet Nothin's. Basically your just looking to tie up the other side with the Warpigs until you can summon enough Mosquitos and GRemlins to accomplish your objectives. Either way you try it Som'mer Teeth is a hard master to win with .

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.”

I played gremlins like 3 times now and tryed to do the Boomerang tactic but I never got far (in a possitive way).

Getting in the spirit of Stampeding I kinda forgot to call the piggies back and just let them rampage trough my opponent.

I started with Som'er, 2 Gremlins, 1 Mosquito, 3 Piglets and 1 Warpig....
It takes a little practice to position everything right but I casted Reckless, then Git Yer Bro, then Come and Get it twice.
Giving me 5 Piglets.
I Moved the Moasquito up the board and casted Sooey (dont forget to put al the pigs in base 2 base and 8" away from you're line). Then I let al the pigs Rampage trough the opponents line.
That was so much fun, my opponent didn't know what hit him and he had so much trouble adapting his strategies....
By the time the first turn was over my piggies did a lot of damage....

I really love Gremlins, they are so much fun to play....
Takes a while to get the hang of using them but they are so much fun !!!

I've only played the gremlins maybe 5 times, but the strategy that i've found works awesomely is to stick som'er and a taxidermist in the back, get yer bro', get yer bro' (same gremlin), take a swig, then activate the taxidermist to make a stuffed pig out of the recently deceased gremlin. It allows you to, in two activations, turn 1 gremlin into 2 gremlins and a stuffed pig. I recently did this with the pigapult, and if you can keep enemy melee away from the thing, feedin it a stuffed pig every turn from the gremlins you kill to make more gremlins is one hell of a nice trick to have. That triple blast sure is a beaut. I essentially took out an entire collodi crew in one turn with the pigapult, on account of all those little dolls all bunched up
