Hey guys,
So I got inspired to finally get good shots of all of my Imperial Guard Infantry Squad, my Vets, and my Company Command Squad. It drives me crazy because I can still make out the original painted squads and the more recent ones I've done; though it is cool to see how I've progressed in my painting. Anyways, enjoy!

Company Command:

Vet Squad Green

Red Vet Squad

Infantry Squads (Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, and Purple)

And finally, their Commissars:

Enjoy guys, C&C is always appreciated!

@Shingouki: Thanks man! I figure I've got a ton of dudes, they should have at least a little character.
@Ailaros: I'm sitting on over 4,000 points of Guard. I'd love to go back and redo a bunch of it, especially the tanks, as they're from my main learning period. That's not all my infantry, and I have a bunch of Vehicles and things that I can't get pictures of because they're sitting at my parent's place. I'll get some more pictures of the Platoon Commands and some miscellaneous firgures up here in a bit though!

@Bigmek35: Thanks man! I'm really happy with the Company Command Squad, though I want to expand it all the way with an Astropath, Master of Ordnance, and some Bodyguards!

Some additional pictures!

Kenshin620: Thanks! IG armies should have some character, even if most of the Guardsmen look exactly the same!

Final picture, I finished Red Squad yesterday!

And that's my infantry....phew. My army case has 3 Battlefoam trays and holds 150 models...almost all those slots are filled now...and I still have guys I want to do!
Enjoy guys!

I think the Vet squads are outstanding - each figure's face is quite a bit different from the others - seems to be done mostly with painting. Did you greenstuff the goggles?

@Kestral: I'm glad you like the vets, I wanted them to truly look different from the rest of the army and look like they'd been on the field for a long time! As for the Goggles, no, I didn't sculpt them. They're either off of the OOP metal Cadian Sentinel Pilot, the FW Hardened Veteran upgrades, or the metal Imperial Guard Heads bitz pack GW did a little bit ago.

I'm reworking my Ogryn right now, I should have a finished picture of one up later today!

I like the colour scheme a lot, it is a very good contrast. I think the commissars look especially cool.

Agreed, the Commissars are the best part. Say, have you considered using the Krieg list as an alternate for a game or two? Commissars wielding invisible powerfists in huge infantry blobs is pretty terrifying, especially with WS4.

@Flinty and 2PaintPots: Thanks! I've gotten a lot of compliments on the armour weathering!
@killrbkilled109, Neroku, wildboar, and Eternal Loser: Thanks! I added my first commissars about a year ago, and they do great in my games, though a fist on him would be really, really nice!
@Savnock: I've thought about it. TBH, my favorite FW list to run is Servants of Slaughter (Zerkers in a Guard army is wrong ), but I may have to try it out.

I've got these pictures up on my blog at SmellsLikeWargaming.blogspot.com, but I figured they'd get more views from you guys if I just put them up here!

Now this is probably the most extensive Greenstuff use I've done on a model, minus the four Tervigons. I'm really happy with him, though there's always room for improvement. My favorite aspect on him is the height. I really hate the feet on the WHFB Ogres, so I figured some better lower legs and feet were in order. Just to get an idea on his height...

Kinda makes you feel bad for any guardsmen he comes across. Kinda. Alrighty guys! I'm sure I'll get more work done on my next Ogryn, but I've got commissions coming in next week, as well as some school work, so I don't know when next will be! Regardless, keep an eye out for some new threads pertaining to Tau and Orks!
