Ok, So I have been courious bout drazhar and his background with the eldar. Does anyone know if he was once Arhar/phoenix lord? And if so, why did he leave? And another question(s). Do the DE /Eldar just hate each other with a passion, or is it just one of those things where " I leave you alone, you leave me alone." I just wanna kno more about the 2 races relationship with each other. doesnt say much on codexs.

It's strongly rumored among the Dark Eldar that Drazha is the guy who founded the Incubi, and it's all but stated that the guy who founded the Incubi was Arha.

Note that Drazha literally showed up out of nowhere. It's not as if he's been hanging around for a long time. So there's plenty of room for speculation that he's not actually Arha.

Dark Eldar and the other Eldar factions don't particularly get along. The other Eldar see the Dark Eldar as foolish degenerates who are tempting fate, while the Dark Eldar see the other Eldar as prey that just happens to be Eldar (the latter means that on very rare occasions a group of Dark Eldar may work alongside another group of Eldar - but the other Eldar groups never assume that's going to be the case). Of course, you should also remember that Dark Eldar also see each other as prey...

The exception to the above are the Harlequins. It's unknown exactly how they view the Dark Eldar, but the Dark Eldar as a rule don't antagonize the Harlequins. Part of it is because of the roles that the Harlequins have as storytellers in all of the Eldar societies. And part of it is the fact that you *really* don't want to mess with the Harlequins.

Dark Eldar view everyone as prey - including each other. The codex even has at least one quote from a Craftworld Eldar slave.

The surviving eldar (with the obvious exception of the as-yet unseen Chaos Eldar) view their entire collection of eldar sub-groups as a whole. The members of the other sub-groups may be be foolish/dangerously mis-guided/in denial/what-have-you, but they're still eldar and in desperate circumstances members of one of the other groups might show up to assist. The sub-groups also don't have any problems using each others' talents to the best ability, such as happened when the Craftworld Eldar sent the Harlequins after an Imperial Governor who had a necklace made up of Soulstones. The Harlequins ended up handing the man over to the Dark Eldar.

But that's the extent of their "cooperation".

A group of dark eldar that turn up on an Exodite world in normal circumstances is almost certainly there to collect some Exodite slaves.

And when the dark eldar happened to save Iyanden from Orks, I suppose they did it for the lulz?

*Checks codex*

Oh wait... they did do it for the lulz.

However I will in no way argue that the Dark Eldar are not viewing the craft world and exodite world Eldar as prey, to them everyone is prey. However, as it has been said by Phil Kelly, the Dark Eldar view the craft world Eldar as joyless, highly self restrained monks and consider them foolish. I only suggest the two pity each other as well as hate each other.

I guessed with the new look of the Incubi, and the new artwork of Drahzar (see below) that this had been retconned? Also it says that the Incubi temple had been established when Drazhar first arrived in Commorragh.

This is all going on the new codex stuff though.

I do like the new look Incubi, although it would have been nice if they had kept the scorpion-esque look.

As I wrote above, the belief among most Dark Eldar is that Drazhar is the otherwise absent founder of the Incubi. The explanation would be that Arha left for reasons unknown and eventually came back using a new name.

Is that in the new Codex?

Yeah.

Note that the explanation isn't. The rumor that he's the founder IS.

Per New Codex:

Ahra is the Founder of the incubi.

Drazhar is rumored to be Ahra.

The incubi had been around for a very long time before Drazhar showed up.

I wonder if when the Eldar get a new codex, that it will speak of Drazhar more. Just about why he left and what impact he had on them.

Also remember that he doesn't call himself Drazhar. He doesn't speak at all, the other Incubi call him Drazhar.

I doubt it; they may speak more on Arha, but they likely know nothing of Drazhar.

It also refers to rumors that his armour is filled with dust. Perhaps Arha found his fate and darkness took him, the same darkness that claimed the mandrakes. And his armour and remains fight on without his soul?

Well if you read the Eldar codex, I believe that al the phoenix lords are suppose to be just spirits in armor also, it could just be that.

Wasn't Drazhar the original Striking Scorpians Pheonix lord?

Got captured by DE?

Put into pit to fight?

PWNED?

Started Inubis?

Can't beat Necrons w/ CSM?

Take 2 squads of Nurgle possesed Swooping hawks and haywire both Monoliths turn 1.

Can't fail. Then charge nightbringer with a possesed Lysander w/ MoN.

Just got to think outside the box bro.

Arha was the original Scorpion pheonix lord.
He got in a fight with the current pheonix lord (i presume he lost)
AFAIK He is rumoured to be the creator of the Incubi.
And, he is also rumoured to be Drazhar. (Note the rumoured part)

I think Arha vs. Kanderras was declared a draw. After 17 days.

Actually, they don't say what happened, just that the duel lasted that long.

I doubt it; they may speak more on Arha, but they likely know nothing of Drazhar.

You mean they know everything about Drazhar. They can see the future out ten thousand years, the present is a small problem.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

not about what Drazhar is, or Was; but what he will become.

Also the near future is pretty Cloudy to them, and the Far future changes every second.

So the Above can be amended to: what he might become.
