The races names are that because this came is for the players customization, in this game you can name your characters your race your Nation name, make storylines for them anything you can think of.
What I meant was that the races are basically just the same races as
WHFB. You should come up with a couple of completely new ones to make your game stand out.
Oh yes there will be races that ive made up, im working on one right now where you play as a wolf race army they walk on two legs like a human but there body is a wolf so sorta like a werewolf but there always wolfs.
Ive got anther one where the race is different types of elements the first one is wind so when you see them it looks like armor only but with smoke filling it in.
lukewild1982 wrote:Your game sounds really good, is it more of an in depth Mordheim style game? I would not worry to much about the differences in races. You have gone to more effort in making them different than Games Workshop did when they pawned them straight from Toilken and various other fantasy authors lol!!
Your ranger looks really nice, keep up the good work!
Its some what like Mordeim but more advanced. how mordheim only lets you find items after the game has ended legions lets you find them during game play so it can change the game up fast, and in legions since you have skills or spells that can do massive damage your characters have more wounds then other games. theirs tons of differences but mordeim did give me the idea for this game, i love mordeim but im a person who likes advanced things and more customization type games plus legions allow you do play against
Npcs so you can play by your self if you wanted.
Its basically a
RPG game but a miniature fast paced game. I did take out the things that made
rpgs confusing so it should be pretty easy to learn.
Rules do apply for what class you are meaning you dont want a wizard going in close combat with a warrior, with the exception on what type of wizard you are, each race has different types of wizards you can be. Say if your a mountain elf you can choose Fire, Frost, or Light Spells but not all at once. Fire in this case of fighting the warrior would be best in close combat because you can make a fire sword which is very deadly.
Each race has a wizard type that no other race has like the mountain elves for example has Light Spells and other races dont have it.
And seeing in this game you role for your starting stats changes the game alot, some characters may be better then other opponents at the same level but it will tell you how you might want to play them. but dont worry when you level up you can gain stats and weapons and items can increase them also.
Im trying to get people to play and i want to find out what race and class they want to play so i can make them and they can try them out at least the beta rules, so if your interested please feel free to ask about race and there race traits and what classes they can be and ill be glad to get them for you.
And thank you about the Ranger. i think he will be my main guy for the play test on Saturday.
A picture battle report will be done after the game also.
