These look good, very effective as a unit. I'd suggest picking out some more highlights on the weapons as at the moment the contrast with the armour is quite pronounced and they're a little bit lost.

Nice looking unit!
Artistically I think the red stripes on their helmets look good, however I think in a winter/snow environment they would make excellent targets for your enemy

I also think the red stripes looks ok, but really doesn't make much sense from a tactical point of view (see giant target for enemies, lol)

Thanks for all the comments guys!
@Bullfrog: I'm trying to go for a synthetic stock look for the weapons, perhaps I'll try adding some greys and whites to try and blend it into the armour a bit more.
Also I thought the two stripes on the head were lenses! Well, at least we know why the Elysians lose all the time lol...

Good plan for the guns, it might just be the photo but to me they don't stand out quite enough.
And in a universe where entire armies of superhuman warriors wear armour painted every colour of the rainbow a couple of red stripes is perfectly plausible.

Looking good there.
Though I personally don't really like the red stripes. The models are keeping a realistic appearance, with nice choice of camo.
The red just stands out to much. It's like a centre piece
I would just paint it white white some shades around it.
Was thinking of painting my Elysians in a winter theme too before. But didn't for several reasons.
1. Allready have white grey knights and had white sisters of battle.
2. most tables, acctually all, are summer and city terrain.
Anyhow, great overal, and hoping to see some more fellow Elysians.

NOT TRUE! My FLGS has an iceworld board. I'll have to take pictures at some point. There's also a nice autumn/desert like chasm terrain board too.

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments and replys!
Since some liked it and others didn't I went for a more muted red on his helmet this time. I also tried putting greys and whites on his gun, but I just really didn't like how it detracted from the modern bullpup style of his gun.
I finished my scanner team, i've stuck to my current scheme but used a lighter background/better light source (the sun is pretty darn good).
I should have a vulture and a bunch of valkyries on the way soon! Stay tuned!

OPS forgot to add "my FLGS" doesnt have at all any winter tables.
My wish is that we will have one, but atm it easier to make summer/atum and city terrain.
