Ok, well I'm not much of a painter, but I fell in love with the Daemonhunters before I started playing, so when they released the Grey Knights it kind of revamped my interest in painting. I bought some Army Painter Color Primer to paint my blue Eldar, and so far its made them look 1000x better than before. Pics still look worse than in person though, I think the settings on my phone camera make all the paint/washing/etc. look gobby and horrid. I know they're in need of some highlighting but I don't really have the skill or steady hands for that currently, but I'm working on it. Feedback appreciated.

First fully completed model (Basing and all):

First completed Eldar model, basing to be determined:

Still deciding what to do with this model - its a custom head on a Farseer, still a bit of a WIP.

Custom Storm Guardian, still working on adding more colors, and gems etc.

Aaand my custom Scorpion scheme, shown is the Exarch.

Edit: Couldn't get image codes to work, probably something to do with the file sizes. :X

Thanks. The DoW2 Farseer was kind of what I was going for, I think that helmetless Farseers look awesome...but it still needs a lot of work.

I think they look great. They definitely appear to have the same problem that I have; highlights and shading.

Edit: to clarify, they are still much better than mine.

For the Idranel conversion, I think you should try getting the green stuff to coil as much as physically possible. It's like anime hair atm. Some pre-sculpting sketches of hair in a bun like hers always helps too.

The rest of your guys look fantastic!

Thanks! My weak point is highlighting and shading...personally I feel that the amount of highlighting people do on models is just too much, so I tend to just try to make my models look basic.

I was thinking about using green stuff for the hair, but I ended up just using another mini, and headswapping it onto a Farseer body with a little bit of green stuff.

The GK look good. Not a super fan of the farseer head, could use a little more work to get it away from the "generic anime person" and more towards the "eldar" spectrum. It definitely has potential though, very DoW2.

In my small GK demo army I'm doing red Nemesis weapons on the squads, with blue for HQs. I think it'll compliment nicely.

Thanks. She's still got a lot of work, and unfortunately, probably not tournament-eligible. Its a Reaper head, and a buddy of mine just divulged the no-no that is using non-GW models. :O
