Hello Dakka
I'm Wise Guy Sam. Don't be fooled though, the only part of my alias that gives any indication to my real life self is the 'middle' bit.
I've been pretty steady in the hobby since 1999 at the beginning of high school with some rather spiky ill painted

Dark Eldar, at the birth of 3rd edition. Fast forward 12 years (omg has it really been this long...) and I am finally working towards the completion of my very 1st goal in
40k, get that 1st army finished.
Sure I've achieved a lot in that time such as spending a lot of my teenage years painting flavour of the month Space Marines but it's only been the last 18 months after the 'wise guy sam financial crisis of new girlfriend' that saw a lot of my older stuff sold and a hobby reboot. Best Thing Ever.
I'm somewhat of a slow painter that can finally create some decent looking models

. I've got a gaming group that is all on the same page and we have managed about a dozen games between us (may not sound like much but its sure is an improvement), as we work towards a more steady game schedule. I've also managed to paint about 550 points of Orks.
Picked up Dark Eldar in late November and built up a 1000 points (bar 1 venom, bring on June) and I'm preparing for my 1st 'learning experience...' More importantly then watching my reputation of tactical genius fly out the window as its smashed by a mixture of

's and

I've finally worked out the colour scheme for me. I had originally painted 5 warriors as the Kable of the Poisoned Tongue but just last week realised it had taken me the better part of half a year and I wasn't that drawn in. Sure they looked nice but I took the plunge, and have decided to create my own kable.
Kable of the ..... okay the name is a work in progress but sometimes a new colour scheme or a new army is all you need. I've managed to get 5 and a half warriors painted in a week and their in no signs of slowing down. I've got for a knarloc green armour with a heavy wash of thrakka, with a healthier level of highlights and to honour the original Dark Eldar that I saw in a once great publication, silver helmets. They look spooky Scary.
Last of all, time for some truths. Sometimes you may come across a post or
OP by be. Sometimes it may be a little long so If your short on time or have just cottoned on to the fact that my points can sometimes use a lot more words then necessary then this is for you;
TL;DR My Name is Wise Guy Sam, and I'm a Wargammer
