That's a great-looking terminator. Very well painted. I'm not a huge fan of how the head is positioned, to me it seems very unnatural. The conversion work is excellent and flows quite nicely. I'm especially a fan of the tanks mounted on the model's back.

Great conversion, paint job, and base! I have to agree though that head does seem to be a bit off in angle...unless he's going for the whole "I'm huge, crazy, and cracking my neck before charging at you" thing

Great job bro. I really like the basing on this model as well as the conversion work. Very unique and well executed. I happen to like the off kilter angle of the head given the nature of the model. The icon for The Purge came out very well.

I love everything but the fact that he doesn't have a helmet. the ARMOR has a 2+ save, not your skull!

Thanks, Most of those components are from 2nd edition when GW laughed at the idea of making things proportionate to one another. I had known for quite sometime that I wanted to use that specific head for this model. That angle was the one that worked best between the size of his head and the angle from where he was seperated from his original body. I'm glad you dig the tanks on the back they came off an old WFB Skaven poison wind globadier.

I know what you mean, but its totally plausible that he's a little psycho.

Thanks! That icon was a pain.

Well, yeah..welcome to the 41st millenium where promotions = removal of helmets. I actually agree. I'm generally not a big fan of helmetless characters that are supposed to be stuck in a constant war, but c'mon. That face is too hard to pass up in its natural nurgle goodness. I actually think the head, more than the tanks on his back or plasma cannon, is what really makes this model pop.

Wow, Moltar, that looks amazing! what a fantastic looking mini! I love the bits you've used and that base is superb and really adds to the whole look! your painting of the armour is spot on, nice and gritty and nurgle-y, it's nice to see a fresh take on something like this.

I actually am a fan of the head, sets it off nice. I think the skaven pack could of been worked in better, just looks a bit stuck on (with a mold line).

I think you need to work on your bronze colour, it doesnt do much for me.

Stand out part of the model is the base, its just fantastic!

I'm glad you like the head and the base. Admittedly, that skaven pack is kind of just stuck on with minimial greenstuff used to extend his belt around. To which bronze color are you referring? I actually tried to avoid a bronze or brass look and just wanted dirty metals. The backpack is made up mostly of two different takes on achieving a "silver" look. One started with straight boltgun and worked up to mithril, the other started with a mix of boltgun and scorched brown and worked up to mithril. If you're referring to the pipes coming out of the top half of the bass, those aren't supposed to be brass, but wrought iron that's rusted out. The other bits are all gold, not brass. So, you have successfully confused me.
Either way, I'm glad you like it overall and especially the base. I do appreciate the constructive criticism. I would like to know which metal part you're referring to, so that we're on the same page.

Thanks, Joske! Actually, from what little fluff is out there on The Purge, despite being Nurgle worshippers, they aren't too into the rot and plagues, like Death Guard, the Cleaved or the Lords of Decay, and more into just Destruction. Not the German thrash metal band, but the act of killing, maiming and destroying stuff. (well, actually, I think all CSMs are into thrash metal) I could've gone either way, but that face is one of my favorite GW sculpts, so I didn't want to tarnish it that much.
