Pulp City is a tabletop superheros game of 25-32mm two fisted he man ( and woman ) tales...

Now something has shown up to give the giant Hadrian, ( and the newly recruited Cpt Britian) a run for his money...

The giant monster sets have a bunch of options and really look great.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I play it from time to time.

The rules are pretty straightforward and available on the main site. They have a hardbacked book out now, but the download is pretty much all you need to play. They have tokens, downloaded references, and a bunch of support stuff on the site in the forum area.

Biggest detractor for it to me is that it is an unpolished gem. You have to go to several different sites and downloads for the stuff to play the game with, when it would have done them to put it all on the download section of the main site.

Plays I go- You go, with the special superpowers directed on the card, based ont he hero in question. They have a BOOM system to allot for the ususal goodness and zombies and extended asset management, and the new Giant monster stuff that they are supposed to get into in the upcoming month or so.

Good game, the guys are a little pricy, but a good game.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Is one of their characters really called Cpt Britain?

Someone call Marvel, I smell a lawsuit.

No, thats what I called him. His real name is Sovereign.

Of course, after I saw him, I want to call him Union Jack! The name was taken though... Here is the rundown over at Pulp on him.

I picked up a cool sidekick for him from Reaper-

They have a hobby section over there that does not quit. Great finds and there are a heck of a bunch of products out thereto help you get your comic tabletop miniature four color fix on.

Best thing about this game is that you can use as many as 1 to 6 or so guys per side. Very easy to get into, and not going to give you a headache to play.
