So i'm wanting to submit one of my pieces of writing to a publisher...
for three chapters, is 25000 words to much?
if it is, how much would you say is roughly right?

For a good size novel, 100,000 words are what is needed.
To tease a publisher about a book, look into what they ask for regarding how much of that book they want to read.
For instance, Black Library asks people to submit the first 3 chapters, or about 10,000 words before they consider publishing a book.

As WarOne said, 100,000 is generally considered good "novel" territory, with ~3,000 words per chapter (although I personally would say anything between about 5,000-10,000 is better).
Having said that, I have never been published

WarOne=> Yeah black library is what i want ... haha
so 100,000 words roughly?
SilverMk2=> Okay, my first chapter is roughly 8,500 words, my second chapter 5200, and my third chapter is about 8500 as well.
Is that to much or like just enough for each chapter?

That sounds about right...
Though IMO chapters should be used as a structural thing rather than on a word count basis.

I'd go for their minimum first, making sure everything is top notch. One mistake and they could throw the whole thing out. An aspiring writer has to check their own grammatical mistakes before an editor even considers them.

yeah that is what i thought to, like i try to make my story flow...kinda and like the chapter can tend to go on... the minimum for the three chapters is 10000...only 15000 over all good
I heard from someone that Black Library is a really hard company/group/publishing firm (whatever you want to call it) to get into...I'll just you know, try my luck and see what happens yeah
and btw, here is a link to the start of my first chapter comment, need advise on everything

Seems too long for me. The important thing is that you have written it though, either you are the most stubborn person in the universe or you have some talent. I would say submit it..

Writing gets quite difficult after a couple thousand words in my experience, i.e after the first creative burnout. Either you have overcome quite a few or you simply force yourself to keep writing. Thats kinda what i meant. There is a third option however; you enjoy the act of writing not just thinking up cool scenarios.

Geez, this topic reminded me that I had to work on my writing...
The first chapter in my "novel" is only like 2.5k words....
Then again, I am an amateur and I really don't intend to submit it.
