EMPIRE FINANCIAL GAZETTE
Early Edition
The regional Imperial Governing Council announced late last night that bozerite will again be flowing in quantity to Mechanicum production facilities and at a lowered price. A proclamation was also issued by Lord Pillford of the Supreme Command Council on Terra expressing the Emperor's satisfaction that there will be no interruption of the production of void armor in this time of crisis.
Although the appearance of unity was expressed by virtually all Imperial sources, it is believed agreement was reached only after several armed clashes in the area and a subsequent parlay demanded by Terran intermediaries of the highest level. Prices for bozerite on the Galactic Commodities Exchanged opened down from the highs established in trading following the commencement of hostilities, but they still remain elevated compared to prices several weeks ago. It is rumored that the Purple Reign and Imperial Governing Council struck a deal as part of the negotiations to share in the profits the mines generate.
Our reporters in the area of the Bozerite Mines have dispatched descriptions of a major clash between the Governing Council's 'Relief Expedition' and units of Von Bryan's Purple Reign Space Wolves late Wednesday.
Battle Flares at Mines
by Ed Chatty
Numerous explosions were seen last night and we counted at least four fires raging out of control in the vicinity of the mines. We observed Grey Knights entering the area early in the day, but it was not until the 'Relief Expedition' of Imperial Guard and Blood Angels arrived that the fighting erupted.
Purple Reign units assembled at the mine heads.

Skofe the Enraged brings his Grey Knight force up on Von Bryan's right, apparently allied with The Reign.
In a bold move, Skofe drops in his Chaplin and Terminator escort in the midst of the Expedition's front.
Skofe's line then moves forward
The drop into the Imperial center may have been foolhardy, but then, these guys are enraged. The escorts drop, but the Chaplin has his wind up for a fight.
As if to show his distain, the Chaplin decides to take on the Land Raider!
Only the Emperor can imagine the mystical forces the Chaplin is conjuring up.
With a resounding blast the Raider disintegrates, taking out 9
IG troopers in nearby squads, but only blowing the dust off the Chaplin's terminator armor. The Death Company passengers are equally unphased and not disposed to having their transportation vaporized
The Death Company, with a yell that could be heard all the way to Baal, charge the Chaplin.
Meanwhile, the Purple Reign takes up positions to guard the mines.
Blood Angel Assault troopers, no longer able to contain their rage, charge forward.

Rage meets conviction
In a final push, Imperial Sentinels of Commissar Andru smash into the Purple Riegn. The Reign holds.
At this moment, Imperial emissaries arrive to declare a ceasefire. The two sides are instructed to repair to encampments on the edge of the mining complex while servitors are transported in to resume operation of the mines.
When questioned later about the presence of Grey Knights in his encampment, Von Bryan would only say that the Knights were representing some Eldar interests in purchasing any excess bozerite crystal produced.
So peace and tranquility has settled once again on the Delgando desert. Or... has it...
