Any chance you could run us through how they're painted?
sure.
black undercoat, followed by pure adeptus battlegrey(
gw spray gun).
to get more depth i use a mix of adeptus battlegrey and scorched brown(with lots of water in the mix)
all metals are boltgun metal, washed with badab black.
gold is a mix of shining gold and boltgun metal over sorched brown. i wash it with badab black to bring out the details and afterwards with devllan mud. last step is thinned down hawk turquoi.
pelts, bones and the like are painted scorched brown, followed by dheneb stone and devlan mud.
yellow is,as usual, the most time consuming part. scorched brown, followed by bestial brown, a mix of bestial brown and dehneb stone and a lot of layers of iyanden dark sun/dehneb stone mix.
battle damage: spots of a mix of adeptus battle grey and chaos black that are highlighted with an
abg/dehneb stone mix.
as you can see i use a very few colors to speed things up ^_^
