This is the Interrogator-Chaplain I painted that won the first-place small-base model award at my FLGS on saturday. I am very happy with how he turned out. Some of the details aren't visible in this picture; if I get access to a decent camera I can take a few pictures of my own to show off some of the parts I'm particularly happy with.

(Full disclosure: This picture was taken by the folks who run my FLGS as I lack a camera currently.)

I fixed that when I got home; I'd based it only a couple hours earlier, and it got a little mangled during transport. That's what I get for waiting until the last second!

nice. I particuarly like the scroll thingy hanging from his crotch. The detail on it is spectacular.

That part took about half an hour just by itself. I wanted to get the aquila just right, and I kept getting a hand twitch at the wrong moment. Luckily I was using watered down paint so I was able to 'erase' it by dabbing a bunch of water and wiping it off. I think I finally got it right on the third try. It's my favorite part, hands down.

Is it finecast... the details are just so clear and crisp...

But then again, I would expect it isnt as fincast supposedly fixes camera shots from any angle in any lighting wihtout the use of Macro setting

Nope, he's not Finecast, he's the old 'this thing weighs a ton' metal model. I do have a Finecast Lord Commissar that I bought (that's NOT damaged!) but of course, I can't find him right now...
