Good afternoon all,
I am new to the dakkadakka.com website and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Scott and I started playing Warhammer from back in the good old hay days of 2nd edition. I survived “Hero-Hammer” to move into third and then fourth editions of Warhammer and finally dropped out when fourth edition released…
… And now I’m back. I just recently played my first game and while it wasn’t an overwhelming success, I am optimistic I will be back to “competent” status sometime soon. I have always played Ultramarines, along with Demon Hunters, and I have a very small Elder army if I can ever dig it up. I love the hobby and a friend of mine recently took some pictures of my army and posted them here, to which he said the reviews were mostly positive, and so through his encouragement, I have decided to join the Warhammer 40,000 online community.
Thank you first to everyone who provided feedback on my models in his post, and secondly, thanks for having and hosting such a great site for players to share thoughts and ideas on the game that somehow sucks us back into the warp even well into our adult years.

Welcome, Veteran Brother! I remember well the days of HeroHammer. I was frequently stomped into the mud because I refused to min/max my list. I'd sooner die with fluffy honor than fall prey to the endless darkness of min/max.
Looking forward to checking out your gallery, always enjoy seeing old miniatures.
