(I'm a rather new to posting, so please be patient with me.)

I have been recently playing a rather fun game called Masters of Orion 2 (Abbreviated: MoO2). The game deals with around nine races struggling for power in the galaxy. I was inspired by the game to build models representing each of the races. I have already built a silicoid, but want to know what people think I should build next. I feel like a trilarian model should be fun, but in the meantime I need to get some more greenstuff.

I will also post any WIP pics I take along the way, in case anyone else wants to make these models.

Finally fixed my camera, so here are those silicoid pic's.

Sorry for the low quality pic, it's the RCA quickflip camera I have. Its low quality, but it's the best I have...

What do you think?

A friend wants me to paint his stone body an orangy-tan, but I think grey is a good color for him. What should I do?

Definitely intrigued but it's a bit hard to tell with such poor quality photography. I'm guessing he's some kind of sentient rock-being? If you could get a better shot of him that'd be good. (White background, plenty of light, macro (flower) setting on camera, camera held against something steady).
What are the races in that game? I'm always interested in cool alien races!

In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium there is only Devlan Mud Agrax Earthshade.

My camera might not have those settings, But I'll have to check...

Yes, the silicoid are sentient rock people, and are one of the more exotic races.

There are 13 races in Masters of Orion. They are as follows:

Alkari - an avian/reptillian race, they have a good scientific benefit on their home world, and have really tough ships.
Darlok - Ultimate spy/assassin race, they get benefits to spying and all of their ships are cloaked
Sakkra - a serious race of sentient man-lizards, they have a huge population growth and live underground
Psilon - humanoid race with an insane research rate. they are all creative, and have a really good scientific research rate. however, their homeworld has low gravity, causing physical weakness
Human - Americans, in space. great diplomats and very friendly, but think about themselves first and are likely going to betray you.
Gnolam - a race of gremlin-like master traders, usually they will help you if their is economic benefit to be found
Silicoid - A race of reclusive, xenophobic rockmen, they eat rocks and are environmentally tolerant, so pollution and radiation have no effect on them. However, since they are rocks, they have a low reproduction rate.
Bulrathi - Man-Bear-dogs, they developed on a planet with high gravity, so they are very strong. they also are great at physical combat, and have other military benefits.
Mrshann - Feline humanoids, they are a prideful and honorable warrior race. they train their troops well and will teach each other good skills, so they are well managed and prepared for attack.
Trilarian - Pacifistic Jellyfish-men, they live underwater (Although they can live out of the water.) and live in multiple dimensions, giving them better ability to move their ships in other dimensions.
Klakkon - Insectiod tyranids, but have made contact and are open in the diplomatic world.
Elerian - Feudal race of metalic humanoids, the elerians are telepathic and omniscient (They see everything), but also a little bit stuck up, and all their leaders are female (They view males as fit only for labor).
And the
Mekklar - Cybernetic builders, they get production bonuses, and they need less food due to their cybernetic implants.

And I was able to coax my parents to let me use their camera, so I do have a better pic. I'll upload it tomorrow.

Ah, MoO2, I still play the game. Anyone interested in it can go to GOG.com and download MoO and MoO2 for 6 or 7 dollars. Both games are fun and have a lot of replay value, I myself have been playing them since the sequel was released back in '95.

I thought it might be fun to see the Darloks done as Tzeentch demons. I like that you see the potential in MoO2 for unique xenos, but ... I'm really not getting a silicoid vibe from what you posted. Don't give up though! Show us what you can do.

Mostly What I'm trying to do is make some accurate models representing all the races. I know that once I'm done, I could find uses for them.

Oh, And I have a better picture. (thanks for the advice )
