Now that is impressive NMM - not that any particular piece is incredibly intricate so much as that every metal surface looks and feels like a completely different metal, from the worn steel of the gear base to the aged brass to the polished blunderbuss barrel and its sooty interior. This, I consider mastery - the ability not just to apply the technique to any surface, but to pick what any given surface should be, then make it look like that. I don't even have to look at the rest of the model to be suitably impressed.
