The other one still hasn't finished the voting phase yet. There'll likely be another one afterwards, but not directly after; giving people a chance to rest up a bit.

I'd also not post anything you're considering entering into the next comp on the forums (or any other fiction website), as you don't know the rules of any future ones; they might well state that entries must be written during a certain time-frame, or that they may not have been posted previously (you could be offered advice on improving it that others miss out on; giving you an unfair advantage).
