Hi, I'm the color purple. I recently sold pretty much all of my GW stuff and have started over. I'm currently working on painting 500 points each of Word Bearers CSM, Ogres, and Isengard. I pretty much never get to play lotr with anyone but a few friends, but I still really like the models and they make good display pieces, so whatever. I own 1500 points of csm and originally intended to get that army fully painted first, but after assembly lining so many red space marines for about a month and ending up with nothing but one armor highlight and less than half of my models with silver trim, I decided I needed to cut that project into smaller portions for my own sanity. Here's what I've got done so far:

10 Horrors (and a citadel hill to match them, got it for free in a promotion)

First 5 Uruks. I'm really happy with how these guys turned out, the first models I ever painted were a box of these guys back in 2002 (discounting some of my dad's 5th ed undead that I mangled in '99). It's nice to see the improvement.

Currently I'm working on finishing all 20 uruks and painting my first Ogre, then I'll go back and finish up my first csm squad. Any Ogre scheme suggestions would be welcome. They're going to be used primarily in team battles with a Morrowind-themed Dark Elf army, with grey skin, red eyes, bonemold armor, and whatnot, so I'm trying to find something that looks Elder Scrolls-esque. I was considering painting them grey as well, like giant Dunmer, or painting them blonde and pale like Nords. Or possibly just like generic Ogres with some Daedric tattoos as references.

First Ogre, not sure if I like the snow on him but it's not coming off now.

I think your ogre is really good, the snow works well. Good job so far!

First Ogre unit. I decided to build the batallion's leadbelchers as themselves rather than bulls and just spread them throughout the bull units. I've no intention of using them as themselves any time soon but I figure they'll be made useful when the new book hits. I'm still not sold on the snow but I continued with it because I want them to match. These guys have some unfortunately obvious mold lines I failed to notice until too late.

I'm also deciding to ditch the CSM entirely and do a Blood Angels force instead. Planning a successor chapter called the Knights Mementor.
