My secret fortress at the base of the volcano!

Greetings and salutations!

My handle is Squid Hills, and I've been involved with Warhammer since the long ago days of 2nd edition. I officially sold my soul away in 1995, with an anrmy of Vanilla Marines (the Emperor's Eagles Chapter). I've since spread out into Imperial Guard (because TANKS!), followed by Thousand Sons (because nobody in 40K has cooler helmets). I even play Warhammer Fantasy, with a just-completed Slaanesh Beastmen army (I know, I know... we can't get marks any more... does't mean I can't paint them pink anyway), and a Vampire Counts army currently undergoing model upgrades.

As a matter of fact, all of my armies (apart from Beasts) are undergoing model upgrades right now... Considering that some of my models date back to 1995, it's high time I did some revisions.

Current armies in existence or in progress are the above, plus a Slaanesh Traitor Guard army, a Tallarn-themed Guard army, and an Emperor's Children warband.

I really, really, REALLY like the modelling/painting aspect of the hobby. It's my creative outlet. Well that, and coming up with fluff for my armies. If I can score a decent digital camera, I'll try to put photos of my armies up here.

Emperor's Eagles (undergoing Chapter reorganization)
Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)
Thousands Sons (undergoing Warband re--- wait, are any of my 40K armies playable?)

Welcome, Veteran Brother! Always interested in seeing the corruption of the Imperium! Looking forward to seeing your Traitor Guard (though I prefer to call them emancipated freedom fighters).

I have a Cultist blog if you are interested. Hope to hear from you!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
