Does the pocket sized rule book that comes with the Mines of Moria box-set contain all the information and points costs for all the models? May be a dumb question, it may not but i just want to make sure.

I haven't actually seen the pocket from Mines of Moria, but my -guess- is that it's like the WH40K Assault on Black Breach; You se the points for the models in the box and have all game rules, but no army lists otherwise than that.

Not enough oysters.

I have a feeling that it does include the points costs because I was looking through some FAQ's today and there was one on the Mine of Moria and it was taking about profiles for Elven captains! I guess I can only hope.

The small book has all the rules and some of the heroes and machines used. But in the bigger book it has more storys and alot more stats.

The basic rules are enough to get by until you decide you want to do a particular force. They've got rules for the core stuff, like Orcs, Goblins, Trolls of various kinds, the heroes on both sides (not all of them but most of them) and elves, dwarves and so on.
If you then decided that you really liked Moria Goblins and wanted to make a Moria Goblin force, you'd have to buy the Mines of Moria expansion thingy which would give you more rules for Goblins and Dwarves.
