Hi, i am Johnny from Portugal.
I am a complete newbie in wargaming, however i have been intrested in starting for quite a while now .

Unfortunately i live in a country which has almost no market for this sort of thing (the nerdiest thing around here is probably magic the gathering =P).

But one day while i was strolling in the mall with a great friend of mine, i came across assault on black reach and we decided to buy it in half (althought i haven't seen his half of the money yet )

We threw a coin to see which army we would get, I got orks and he got the marines (but i will be painting both since he claims having absolutely no talent in painting the miniatures) and now i am painting the models and studying the rulebook (i'll post pics of the models later ;D).

Finaly i found this site, and it has been a great help (specialy in basing the miniatures) and i hope you accept me in in this family ^^

By the way, i haven't used web forums in a long long time, i can't recall how to post pictures ;P if you guys can help me with that...

When you start a new topic or post a reply using the 'post reply' button on the bottom left there is an option for Attachments below the text box that you type your main message in. It will give you the option to attach a picture from a file on your computer or type in the URL of the site you've uploaded it on eg. Photobucket, Flickr. Etc.
I've not figured out whether that works from my iPhone yet but it does from my PC.
