Welcome, this is kindof a painting blog as I will be updating my new stuff every so often.
I am looking for advise on how to improve and ideas in general for anything painting, converting, army composition, whatever
So first up heres a list of the models I have and what condition they are in
1 Eldrad (Painted in the Wrong scheme must repaint)
1 Autarch on Jetbike (Painted for the most part)
1 Falcon (Painted for the most part)
1 Wave Serpent (Painted for the most part)
1 WarWalker (Primed Black)
10 Guardians (Primed Black)
16 Dire Avengers (Primed Black)
10 Striking Scorpions (Primed Black)
8 Howling Banshees (7 Primed Black 1 Painted)
10 Rangers (Painted by someone else but will keep)
So heres the first thing I painted the Falcon
Rangers
Howling Banshee
The Mismatching Eldrad
A little Guardian Conversion for a Champion of sorts.

From what I can tell they look decent it might be me but it looks like eldrad needs some washes. Also, what kind of camera are you using?

Pictures are a little blurry... try using a lamp and have a white background using computer paper or something. From what I can see it looks pretty good. Keep up the good work.

Alright I fixed the Autarch as best as I could he was very scratchy which is weird way to describe the model but when I recieved him the jetbike felt like sandpaper rather than smooth.

Why all the spoilers they make it very annoying and will lead to less people taking the time to look at them all.

I like the blue, black and purple scheme you've got going on. Makes me wanna go paint my Wave Serpent but it's not even built yet. :(

I have to be honest: I'm not a fan of your colour scheme, I like my Eldar Bright unfortunately.
That being said: I like your Eldrad, from what I can see it's a very nicely painted mini and the colours go well together.
Will watch this blog intently.
Iranna.

I have to agree with Iranna, I actually prefer the scheme you have on Eldrad, I really like his colours. I just hope this isn't a downer in some way...

I didnt paint him, a better painter did lol. I wanted to Do the army in Blue since I really like the Enchanted Blue Color.
Perhaps there is a way to make the Black parts look better perhaps Highlighting the edges Gray would make the whole model pop a little more? what do you guys think?

I find that a great edge highlight for black is Fenris grey.

I doubt that. I have done it on a lot on my black areas, and it certainly don't look cartoony.
