For no other reason than that is what I want it to be.

As much as I (really) want to think that is what it is I don't recall it on the experimental rules, unless it is one of the "forbidden" weapons.

Considering that they said on their new FB page that the terrain piece we've seen for how many months releases next week, I'd say they're still following the GW method.

If that's what it is and the only way to get it is through games day, I am going to melt down all my plastic GW figs into a raft and all my metal figs into a small hammer and sail across the pond and krump some heads.

I've been looking forward to that for a while now....

Games Day will likely be where it's revealed, but that's because they're doing seminars from the sculptors showcasing plans of what they want to do.

When i looked at it i thought it was necron, but the bolts ect, rule that out. It must be some kind of Iom badarse laser thing.

As a rule of thumb, I'd ignore any logic that relies on ignoring the fact that Forge World announces their "Games Day only" stuff at the beginning of the Games Day season.

They're not in the habit of doing "one event ONLY" models/kits.

If that is in fact part of the games day model, then it would have to be a MOF to be a whole model... but, I still think, given the recent release of the contemptor and it's coming soon weapon list, that makes much more sense to me.

Alpha-mod is correct. I've been waiting on the rumor of a MotF type model for a while and the thought of games day only, which is something I obviously made up when I freaked out, only model, well, I freaked out!
