Been a while since I've posted. I'm still deep in finishing a 2000 pt. High Elves Army, and I've also started some Dark Eldar because I couldn't resist the new models, but I picked up some Warmachine at Comic-Con this year and set a goal of finishing at least one figure per session. Easy for a lot of the talented painters on this site, but for a slowpoke like me, this was a real challenge. I decided that if I thought it would look could on a tabletop, then I would accept it as complete. I'll finish the other two warjacks from this set within a week and post them as well. This is my first experience with the Privateer Press kits, and I have to say that I am impressed with their quality.
First up, Stryker and the Ironclad Heavy Warjack.
Stryker - side view
Stryker - rear view. I wanted more color, so I decided to add red to the traditional scheme.
Ironclad - front view
Ironclad - rear view. I decided that some heavy weathering would cover a multitude of painting sins I was sure to commit while moving fast. Overall, I'm pleased with the result.
Thanks for looking. More to come. Comments, suggestions and criticisms welcome.
