Hi dakkadakka!

I have recently read some articles about the title on the GW website, and I thought it would be cool to do the same on dakkadakka!
Obviously with more then 4 people, and at the end everyone can vote for the best painted/modelled army!
If you would like to participate, then please post a picture of the army you would like to enter with, what army it is, perhaps a name, and if you will add something more.
I think this would be a fun thing to do, and hope that some of you will join.

Specifically, Clan Pestilens. As in, proper Pestilens in the style of the Old Bubonic court list. I need some Motivation to get gak done. So, how are we going to run this?

Well, my plan is to find some people that want to do this, they tell of what their army will consist off, maybe buy some new units (optional), they go painting thier miniatures or finish them, add extra's etc, and at the end everyone that participates in this will post pictures of their army and units. Then I will open a poll, and people will vote for the best. The one that is named the best will get a surprise from me. Im not going to tell what it is, but it is something.

Can you clarify a few things:
Timetable, when will it officially begin/end, do we update each week/month etc?

Most of my Nids atm are boxed and new, hence the initial pics wont be very interesting. How do you forsee that going? I do have some old 2nd models I plan to incorporate too however (painted).

Do we provide any background to the army or army lists etc or is it pure painting/modelling?

Allright, lets clear this up.

-You can join in until Friday the 19th of August (next week)
- Update every week.
- Try to have your army finished before the end of September, or atleast a part of it - the part of wich you want to be voted at!
- This is mostly modelling, but you can add the army list (doesnt have to be a legal gaming army) and basckground. People will probably like it, so maybe more votes for those that do that

want to join, but its impossible, cause i wonjt finish the army till the end of december or maybe even january

Since my army is starting from scratch I may also have problems completing it in time. If that's a problem I could switch armies with little difficulty. Your call bossman.

Sorry for my ignorance, but pretty new to GW stuff. What exactly is a Tale of # Gamers? I'm guessing its a motivational blog type thing, where certain rules apply to keep you going. What are the rules exactly? =)

A tale of # gamers is a blog in wich a number of gamers start/expand an army of them, and the winner is the one with the best looking army/coolest army

Everyone can join until next Friday, and it will end ctober the 23rd. After that I will make a poll, and dakkadakka can choose the army they like best. The winner gets a secret present by me.. Dont expect uch from that. Do it for the honor.

Everyone that has joined will keep us up on their army with pictures and explenation every week/2weeks (gamer chooses).
