I normally play at the Hobbit, but lately with more people moving away it's getting to be a pretty small crowd of people who I can stand playing with. I'll still go there on Saturdays, but what I'm really looking for is a few people who want to take the game to a new level, Fantasy or 40k (I play both). What I want to do is to find people who are interested in building unique terrain and scenarios and to have a good time gaming. Apocalypse, massive sieges, amphibious landings, or off-the-wall scenarios such as my "Battle of the Floating Mountains" are what I'm trying to do. The trouble is that the vast majority of what I've seen has been power gamers, rules lawyers, or people who just play the game to rack up wins more than to have fun playing it. For me, it's more about the hobby than about the game, and I really enjoy the whole aspect of it.
