Hi everyone,

Recently I've been playing WOA, and came across something that wasn't covered in the FAQ's (as far as I've seen at least) for it.

When the Legion Devils are spawned by a player, they appear together as a unit of 3, and all act at the same time. Now lets say that another player spawns the Legion Devil card, and now 2 players have one card. I understand that XP is only awarded for both cards after all 3 of the Devils are killed, but my question is, when exactly do they activate?

Do they:

A) Activate on the second player's turn from now on.
B) Activate on the first player's turn still.
C) Activate on BOTH players' turns from now on.

Could someone please clarify this for me? Thanks!

Monsters are activated on the turn of the player who controls them. Thats it.

If they are sharing a card, you still would activate only the ones you spawned, the other guy activates his.

Bam, said the lady!

Yeah, they don't give you enough actual legion devil miniatures to have the total number of legion devil cards in play. What I do is proxy Bloodletters in as the extra legion devils.

WOA is an awesome game, so much fun!

(I'm very very exasperated at the moment, as this is the 3rd time I've tried posting this, due to Mozilla crashing on me once and then a "Blue Screen Of Death" appearance... )

Anyways, so after reading another forum and msg board, I've come to the conclusion that this is how Legion Devils work.

1. Player 1 spawns Legion Devils, and act on his Villain Phase.
2. 1 or 2 Legion Devils are killed, and then Player 2 spawns Legion Devils. The 1 or 2 that are destroyed get respawned, and now ALL 3 act on Player 2's Villain Phase.

What this potentially means is, if there is more than 1 Legion Devils card in play, they can act TWICE (or even 3 times) in a given player cycle. And you will only gain XP for their cards after all 3 have been defeated.

Wow... Nasty little buggers...

Okay, so another question in regards to "Attack Actions".

The Cleric has a lot of passive abilities that do not directly cause damage (ie - Blade Barrier, Cause Fear).

Would casting either of these spells constitute as an "Attack Action"? I've playtested both sides of this theory, and find that on the side of it "Not Being" an "Attack Action" to be pretty over powering.

Example: I cast Blade Barrier on an adjacent tile. I then cast Cause Fear, allowing all allies adjacent to a monster they are adjacent to, and then move each monster onto the adjacent tile where the Blade Barrier was cast.

This was where I found this to be pretty over-powering. Granted, it expends 2 Daily Powers, but even against Ashardalon himself, that's a lot of damage from one turn.

What's your opinion on this? Thanks!

EDIT: The question can be applied to the Wizard's "Flaming Sphere" spell as well. While it isn't a direct attack against anyone, could it be used in combination with another Attack Action spell?
