When was the last time some heretic cowered at the sight of the "Emperor's D- Art Students" chapter banner? That's why.
 Anyway I like them conversions, that was a neat idea to actually give a Space Marine character a helmet for once.

looking good, my only critique is that marneus is wearing some serious bling bling armour, but his helmet is so standard. Pimp his helmet abit yo!

GW has become that guy just a bit too far into his late 30's at the club full of 20 year olds. Yeah, his stuff was hot last decade, but he refuses to accept that it's time to buy a new wardrobe. Rather than buy it, he's constantly arguing how cool his still is.

Thanks for the kind words guys! The swords are indeed coctail swords. I'll be doing all my Ultramarines' power weapons that way, it looks better than painting them IMHO. Calgar's helmet looks like crap in the picture. It's really reflective IRL but I've noticed that all of my gold was toned down in the photos  You can almost blind someone with him. I decided to put a helmet on this calgar because after painting 2 of his head already (1980s seated version and the 1990s waving version) painting a third made me retch. I figured the normal helmet was ok since the seated calgar came with just a normal Mk6 helm. Shadow_Strike - I'm no artist trust me, actually I'm a rather mediocre painter! The banner looks so cool because all those details came that way on the model! Its truely a beautiful piece, even before my poor skills attacked it! Smith1 - Sorry I can't please you. All I can say is they look abit better IRL, the swords came out abit funny in the photos but they've gotten rave reviews at my FLGS.

well you can cut it up in differant ways, i think it was insaniak who cut one to look like a Grey Knight helmet.
