It has been a very, very long time since I last visited, let alone post in the forums, or even again let alone make a new thread. In my last few painting threads I have begun with: 'Okay, it has been a very long time since I last painted so please be nice.' and although that is once more the case here I will leave that part out. I have finally gotten around to painting my SM's, the Ebon Guard. I will keep this thread updated with new pictures as I work on my army. One little bit to the side though folks, yes, my colour scheme is exactly like that of the Fire Hawks, I couldn't think of a colour scheme myself and the Fire Hawks one really, really appeals to me. The last proper thread I done was at the following @ http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/341896.page and as you can see that was on the 24th of January. Since then, I believe personally I have improved massively as now I highlight beards/hair, use washes, paint freehand script etc. etc. The picture quality could be better but this was the best I could do on such short notice. So, enough with the babbling and onto the models. I hope you all enjoy

That's a very nice, clean paintjob you've got going there. However, I would greatly suggest a using a wash or two, because right now the colours are too flat. Other than that,, great work.

Thanks Tim. I am umming and arring on what wash to use. Don't yet know what would suit the red and yellow the most. Any suggestions?

Ogryn Flesh. Okay, let me grab my catalogue and see. Ah-hah, here we are. So, Ogryn Flesh is a wash, and what, should I wash it over all armour plates or just some?

I am currently past half way through a 3rd Termie and I shall hopefully have the captain finished in no time. I have 7 tacs left to build so when I have all this done I'll update with pics.
