Sub-sector Oregon, Corvallis System


In the name of the Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind, I hereby decree that an escalation league is currently being fought to determine the fate of planet Hyraxes Tertia. At present five souls are fully commited to the crusade, two have newly entered the fray, and two more may be en route.

As we have declared the owner of the local hobby store to be a heretic and not in accordance with the will of the God-Emperor, we will be using our own terrain which presently covers a 6'x4' realm of battle board with adequate ruins. We are currently operating at my domicile on Friday nights, however we are investigating other options as command center is starting to become overcrowded.

New initiates to the battlefields of the 42nd Millenium (that's not a typo ) are fully welcome and we are glad to share our knowledge and experience of the hobby with you. We encourage both stalwart men of the Imperium to join the fray and challenge any Xenos to test our mettle (though the greenskins are already well accounted for).

What days would the league be playing? I'd be totally interested in throwing my Tau into the mix so long as I can work thinks out around my work schedule.

It's still just the four of us right now and we're going to be mostly meeting up on fridays after 5 p.m. However I'm also open to letting us play a game at other times as long as I'm around, i.e. weekday nights, but I'm not sure how well this would mesh with everyone's schedules.

At any rate, this friday will actually be our first meeting, let me know if that would work for you and if not maybe we can still figure something out.

This Friday doesn't work. I won't be off work until 8. Next Friday however, I can pull off.

Nice to know there is something going on in Corvallis. I know Eugene/Springfield is a bit away, but we have a good online forums damekshop.com if you all want to make accounts and keep up with what goes on down here of interest.

Does the Corvallis gaming community have a similiar dedicated forums to post events and things? I'd love to get connected with nearby communities.

I don't know of one for the Corvallis area, specifically. I know there's one in Lebanon, though (Willamette Valley Wargaming). And there's also the Ordo Fanaticus, which is a wider NW group, but seems like most of the activity for them seems to be in Portland.

The monthly Large team games we play are pretty epic, and we are still looking for more players.

Pretty sure eldar are definitely there... and we need more chaos. There's a great lack.
