Sup fellow practitioners of the Dakka arts,

This is my chaos warband which i HAVE made models for and painted. This is the overview of the host and and feedback will be welcome.
I am new here and have only just made an account. Here's what i got so far:

Name: The chimeric host

Primarch: Mortarion/Angrom

Warcry: ROT THEIR ARMIES, SPILL THEIR GUTS!

overview: The chimeric host are unique in a way, as they are a genetic combination of both the world eaters and the death guard, meaning their armies have equal amounts of blood-thirsty berserkers as rotting plague marines. giving them various tactical options. This unique heritage does come at a price, however, as the warband suffers from rampant mutation, which reflects the individual. For example, plague marines sport rat-like heads while berserkers possess beast like heads and limbs. The chaos spawn and possessed in their armies are not the result of the blessings of the gods, but those who could not handle the gene-seed, and were overcome with mutation, becoming horrific amalgamams of man and foul beast.

LEADER: The cloven, Chimeric demon prince of the Gods.

SECOND IN COMMAND: Mortis, chaos lord of the chimeric path

FLAGSHIP: The Wyrmmaw.

How does it look?

It's not bad, I'm not sure about the gene seed splicing. Do they support chaos undivided or just khorne and nurgle? I dont think they'd be able to have 2 seperate primarchs. Also what are their tactics? how'd they get created? who created them? That's my 2 cents but I'm in the process of creating a loyalist chapter and i know making up fluff can be hard sometimes. If you need any more ideas or help feel free to ask me or any other dakkanaught

Tactics: the chimeric host often attack in lightning fast raids, quickly killing the enemy before skulking off into the shadows. Their armies often carry large amounts of plasma and melta weapons amongst their ranks. They also make frequent use of Obliterators.

Creator: there are many theories concerning the chimeric host's creation. The most prominent being that they were engeneered by some mad scientist such as Fabius Bile or another like him.

Loyalties: The chimeric host follow their own gods with berserkers following Khorne and plague marines following Nurgle. Their leaders, however are strange as they follow both in equal measure.

I'm starting to get it now, I like the idea of someone simliar to Bile creating them but if someone did they wouldn't know their pirmarch/s. I've never heard of a warband freuqently using oblits seeing as they are rare, Also I like the idea of the leaders worshipping chaos undivided. Could you upload some pictures of your warband? I'm interesting in seeing them. All in all I like where it's going.

It's a unique concept. At first I though MARY SUE ALERT MARY SURE ALERT, but then I read this line. "This unique heritage does come at a price, however, as the legion suffers from rampant mutation, which reflects the individual." Its nice that they have to pay for their gifts from the Chaos Gods. My suggestion is to change the name though. There are only 9 Chaos Legions, and they've all been established. THE CHIMERIC WARBAND or THE CHIMERIC REGIMENT might work. You can try to think of something.

And I'm interested in seeing those pics of yer army.

HOLY FETHING HELL! It's excellent! it's jaw dropping for me.

it has that feel of nurgle without being too nurgle and the feel of khorne without the khorne-yness ( get it? lol) but it just all blends. Bravo good sir! Now if only i can get some bitz and pieces and let my imagination run wild!
