I don't know if anyone has tried but the LoL patch today is really messed up. Have been in que dodge hell for about 25 minutes because the champ menu in select keeps glitching for people so they que dodge out. The glitch itself isn't that bad but its effect makes the game practically unplayable because you can't get into a game.

Anyone else experiencing this?

No, but seriously, all of MW2's patches. They barely did anything.

There is that famous patch (i forget the game) that had as one of its 'bugfixes':
"player is now able to move left"

Skyrim had a patch for PC that capped its RAM usage at 2gb.

That angered many basement dwellers.

That LoL patch irritated me a bit, but it was fine in the end and I got my daily IP.

And what is it with Shaco/Sivir players?

Worst Patch ever? probably the NGE for SWG.

Should just switch over to HoN guys

I personally am just waiting for DOTA 2, in all honesty.

The "community" for dull overhyped terri-awful 2 is likely to be even worse than that of LoL or HoN.

Yep, take the most elitist of both LoL and HoN then put them in the same place...
The only good thing is they can't actually reach through the monitor and stab you for not being their idea of good...

Personally, I think the community has really calmed down from the way it used to be. It used to be REALLY bad, back when it attracted all the Dota Elite players. Now that the F2P (And an improved Report a player function) has been around, the community seems to have settled down a bit. There is still flaming, but it doesn't seem near as bad as it used to be.

It doesn't seem to have too much of the initial LoL hand holding though. The community made me give up on HoN and it's sort of getting there with LoL too...

one of the many for the MMORPG Horizons but my least favorite is when they fixed the bug where you could log onto multiple characters from the same account.

it was fun to have a bunch of your friends leveling all of your characters at once.

Bah, I was talking about DotA 2, in case the acronym wasn't obvious. Emphasized in the quote for easy reference.

I recall a patch for BF2 that doubled the load times (at least) while fixing almost nothing.

Ever played BF3?

In beta people had disconnects, performance issues, glitches, bullets that autokill you (basically like UT instagib gun) and the famous long neck monster.

Release had even more disconnects, punk buster kicks and even worse performance (with gakkier graphics and destruction).

1.1. Well I don't how first patch was because the game stopped working entirenly "BF3.exe has stopped responding"

Back to Karkand allows me to play after almost 2 months. I can play with even less performance with end rounds crashes, disconnects every 2 mins and lots of bsods

The LoL patch was undoubtedly the worst I've seen in some time.

How does the free to play function on Heroes of NEwerth? Do you get access to everybody, a set stable of champions, or does it rotate like LoL?

Anyone ever play Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare survival in multiplayer??

pre-patch, survival was a game of time. The zombies only ever got marginally stronger, but many more came, and there were no overpowered special zombies. The aim of the game was to kill an amount of zombies before a timer ran out. Every time you filled that quota, a box of ammo would come down. This time would always get smaller, until eventually you wouldn't fill your quota and ammo would stop spawning.


At this point, survivors would get on a roof, and headshot zombies, as it was always an instakill to the head. You would spend your last few precious rounds taking pot shots into an ever growing horde around the base of your building. Arms were reaching up and the dread of what was about to come ever loomed upon you. When the last round had been spent, the surviving players would hurl themselves into the zombies, melee weapons in hand, for one final, epic last stand.

But, a small amount of the community, assumably made up 100% of Call of Duty players, who were too worried about their non existent KDR, refused to jump into the horde, thus never allowing the game to end, and no one receiving their end of round bonus XP.

So Rockstar patched it. So that spitters shot dynamite the moment you failed to fill your kill quota. You'd be dead within seconds. Totally ruined the experience.

Some patches out their are ridiculous. It will say a big patch is coming.... yeh sure they made the animation of firebolt look a little less likt a guy trying to take a gak.... you sometime have to live with it and troll it
