So, taking a break from painting boccage, I saw these two 6x6 cork tiles I had from a previous project and thought they could be put to better use.
Took some sheetrock mud spread it on, and used a bit of
GW sprue to drag in some plowmarks. Sprinkled a bit of fine grain (sugar cookie sugar) talus on to give a bit of texture, primed and painted.
They match up nicely with my boccage given that they are all 6 inch to a side. Those are a couple of my Stumis with toothpick Improvised armor as
BF didn't get off their lazy rears and make them before I finished. Literally I think it was two weeks from the last touch of paint to BFs Finnish Sturmis.
Anyway, not 100% sure how they will hold up. The backing is flexible and the mud isnt so I wouldn't be surprised with some breakage. I think when I do this again I iwll use liquid nails instead of mud as it has more give.
