So today I noticed the banner at the top of the website on www.gamesworkshop.com had changed from $40 dollars CND to $75 dollars CND free shipping on all orders. So I decided to check and see what the US side of the site said. It was like $50 dollar free shipping. I am truly amazed by the difference in prices between US and CND pricing on there website. Now this has been a issue for sometime in Canada. We understand it costs so much more to ship a item a extra 100 miles over a boarder. Considering the majority of our country's population lives so close to the US. I like so many others are getting tired of the difference in prices. all off our stock comes from Memphis. With no distribution or warehousing in Canada for games-workshop it can't cost them that much more to ship us something then it does the rest of the 52 states. I get things all the time US post and it really isn't that much more expensive or time consuming. Considering there free shipping is ground based and takes forever just like anything else sent in the post. it just feels like another example of GW fixing prices higher to gain more income.

You think we got it bad? Look at Australia.
I would imagine the standard purchasing ritual at an Australian GW store involves a series of sexual favours, considering the prices they pay.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

Yeah the Aussies have it really bad i feel bad for them. I just don't understand the cost difference here. We are super close to the US. Are money is worth the same if not more. It really isn't any more expensive to ship things here. It is bad enough that we have to pay like $10 dollars more a box on somethings but why do we have to buy so much more to get free shipping. It makes no sense the costs really are not reflective of the price jump. It was $40 dollars last month what changed?
