Did a quick search, didn't see anything related.
Also, not bitching, just yet. I'm just curious if others have had similar issues.
I placed an order worth more then $500 with Forgeworld 8 days ago, and asides from the initial status update of "Acknowledged" nothing has happened since. I emailed them, but haven't heard anything back yet, though I still have time on the "3 Business Days".
I understand that sometimes they can be out of stock on certain items and may hold it up a few days to restock and ship it all together, but I'd think that when someone puts that much money down on your products, you'd be a bit more proactive in updating the status of the purchase. Have others had similar issues? I've never done a purchase this large from them, nothing more then $50 before, so this is a bit new for me. Any info folks have would help put my mind at ease.

What items did you order?
And you might want to check with your bank. They might have put a hold on the attempt.

A lot of stuff. One of the items was the new book, which I know wasn't released until a couple of days ago, but last time I ordered they did ship things seperately.. And yeah, the money cleared the bank.

I've never actually had them ship things separately for me because of release dates, they usually hold off and ship all at once. The big difference is usually when it's the larger books "collected" into a volume/set where they get packaged differently than normal.

Yeah it took roughly a week for my items to be shipped after they were "Acknowledged". When they arrived I noticed that some of the items had stickers on them indicating they had come from the US, so I imagine the requested the stock from the US, and then shipped it all together after it had arrived. It arrived VERY quickly once it had changed to "shipped" however.

I have always received a reply on my questions within three business days. I have also simply called them on the phone. Everyone who spends that kind on money on forgeworld should call them at least once, they can be a riot to talk too. in the past I have gotten split shipments, early shipments and one shipment that must have taken a slow boat around cape Horn.

You may also want to take into account that friday and monday were bank holidays here in the UK so forgeworld probably weren't open, so depending on when you ordered (different time zones affecting when they could work on your order) there may not have been 3 working days yet.

Also depends if you order something out of stock or one of the less well selling lines - they may have to get those cast up to order and it depends on their production queue.
I'm trying really hard not to rant at FW's P&P structure. Well, at least it consistently stops me buying stuff...

My shipments to Houston, Texas from Forgeworld have generally taken 10-14 days to arrive. I don't always get a message saying that it's shipped.
You should email them and ask if you are worried.

I ordered a few nurgle items a couple weeks ago... took them around a week (business week,so round 5 or so days)
They show as being shipped as of monday or tuesday, so hopefully, i can let you know how quick they are.... from others' experiences, it shouldn't be too long.

I ordered an Avatar, a Warp Hunter, and a Wraithseer two nights ago. About $230 USD. After completing the order I got an email that said my order was acknowledged / confirmed. Eight hours later I received a second email saying my order had been shipped. Maybe your order had some items in it that were out of stock and they needed to make some new ones. For the amount you invested I'd definitely wake up during their business hours and give them a call. If anything, talking to a real live brit about the whereabout of your order will relieve the stress of it all. I think it's their accents.

Normally shipping recently has been averaging 20-40 days since jan of this year.
I order from them very frequently (1-2x a month)
If you contact them they will not begin a tracking until 30 days after they acknowledge shipping.
Fastest, 4 business days on a $1500 order.
Worst 4 months... Customs pulled it for further inspection. Then repacked it at their leisure.

Yeah, I have to agree it was totally worth it to wake up early and call them direct. Using skype it was really cheap to call. My issue was a smallish model was in the same box as two books, so the model did not survive shipping over the pond. The gentleman understood and sorted it out immediately, and yes, those accents are just inherently soothing. Even though I had to go to work right after, I really just wanted to drink tea and eat scones and biscuits...
Edit - as for shipping times, mine have ranged from less than a week to exactly 30 days. If it is anything less than 30 days I wouldn't worry at all... and I don't remember ever getting ship confirmations. I vaguely recall looking at my order status but wasn't satisfied, and remember thinking I'll just wait till day 31 then call. Stuff arrived so it was moot.

I believe that Forgeworld states that delivery can take up to 28 days.
Worry after that.

This is a Royal Mail thing - they won't acknowledge an item as lost until 15 working days after it was due to arrive.

My current order will hit 3 weeks in a day, but I'm not concerned. My orders from them pretty much always take 3 to 4 weeks. And yes, they sent a shipping notification.

Just an update for you all...
The order I placed on the second, which shipped on the 10th, arrived today.. Obviously this is somewhat quick (though I am relatively close to the east coast), YMMV
I should also point out that everything came out looking great, though some pieces have some slight warping (nothing that I can't/ haven't fixed in the past)

Well, I was notified on monday that it had shipped. It arrived a few minutes ago, all parts present.
I haven't opened the packages yet, still recovering from surgery, so modelling will wait a day or two.

Thanks, I did pull a few things out of their bags. Then a hearty groan ensued when I saw all the flash I was going to have to clean up.
All in all everything was in good condition though, no broken peices or anything. I'll have to heat up a few of the longer items to straighten them out, but no big deal. I'm really looking forward to having my new Avatar stride onto the field of battle and rebloody his hand.
