hey guys looking to hit a few fantasy gts this year. have a few guys to bring..... just have no idea where to look. any ideas? im in buffalo dont really wast to drive more than 5-6 hours.

I'm down near Olean and there isn't any gaming action that I'm aware of. I'm highly interested in travelling up for a GT.

The Crossroads GT in Horseheads, NY has been a really high-quality indendent GT for a number of years. It's usually around September.

If your in the Buffalo area what travel distance are you considering?

Showcase comics in Media PA runs a few events. They are smaller then they used to be about 30 guys, you would need to call ahead and pre-register.

Yearly there is the Colonial GT, I believe will be housed in North Jersey, they have a website and the organize usually posts here as well. That tends to be around March-April.

Keep and eye out for Conflict GT, I believe it is also in North Jersey. Tends to be January / beginning of the year.

Templecon is one that you may want to google as well. Most of the organizers know each other and attend each others events so they try to stagger them.

Battle for Blobs Park is coming up, its in Maryland at a Camp Ground. It has a Beer Garden, and is a nice 1 day event.

Crossroads GT is Fantasy primarily. We're thinking about adding Malifax during the evenings, but that's still developing. Anyway, it sold out almost as soon as tickets went on sale.

The main event is 40K and Warhammer fantasy.

We have done warmachine in the past, the person that run it moved away so we have not had someone else step to run the event.
We are looking for at maybe doing Malifaux. We need to work out the details.

We are running it at University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) this year. It was held there about 2 years ago.

I am glad you are coming. I also have heard Crossroads is a great event. If you go make sure you get tickets early, because they the typically sell out.

As Jay mentioned, if you have a passport, the Warmaster's Fantasy Challenge is held each spring in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.

Our format is Doubles on Saturday and Singles on Sunday. We have lots of prizes, especially for painting, and the weekend winner (best total over both events) walks away with something cool from Forgewolrd/Warhammer Forge.

We average around 80 for the doubles and 50 for the singles.

Conquest Toronto is comtemplating a Fantasy Event for the fall, but I don't think it is set in stone yet.

Note that Showcase is scheduled to run the WFB event at the WarStore Weekend in the Meadowlands. The convention runs October 26-28.
