So I've been planning on rebuilding my DE list to include some hellions and I've narrowed it down to 2 options:
(in both lists all venoms have 2 splinter cannons)

The main difference between them is the choice between the duke and splinter trueborn or more blaster trueborn, but the other big difference is the pain token shenanigans with the hellions, baron, and wracks. If the baron starts with the wracks he can take their pain token to the hellions to give them FNP. But when I add the haemonculus, he can start with the hellions and leave them his pain token, then when the baron joins they'll have FNP and FC. The only reason I'm still considering the duke is because of his 3+ poison and 2 rolls for drugs. The 2 rolls really help because it means you'll have a 1/3 chance of getting the drug you want rather than a 1/6 chance. So, which list do you think is better?

List one has no where for the Duke, he is a combat character and the only place you have room for him is with a very weak shooting unit or a 3 strong unit of wracks. He will get blasted to pieces in either.

2 drug rolls is the only thing I am impressed with for the duke, and you only have 3 units that have drugs so I wouldnt take him. If you had 5+ then he is good.

The baron does not start with a pain token and in your second list you dont have a unit of wracks.

Dont take Hellions, even with the baron, they are only mediocre.

Dont take a stinger pistol, its a large waste of 5 points

-The second list has wracks, I just forgot to type them in there, its been edited.
-Where would you suggest I use 5 points if not on a stinger pistol? Yeah it's kind of a waste, but I couldnt find anywhere else to use
-I really have to disagree about hellions being mediocre even with the baron. Sure without him they kinda suck, but 17-20 jump infantry with fleet, skilled rider, stealth, FNP, and maybe FC will easily kill just about anything other than thundercav (although they would have a much better chance against them with the strength drug and FC) or draigo-wing. But thundercav are venom targets anyway, and there's not a unit in 40k that can hope to take on draigo-wing in CC. Also, consider what they'll do to a parking lot with the strength drug, FC or both. Thats a lot of S5 or 6 attacks. And when they dont have to run to get to combat, they put out a huge amount of splinter fire. Plus hit and run lets them run away from stuff like draigo-wing or thundercav.
-So I take it from the comments about the duke that you'd pick list 2?
