Hi guys.

I'm Lead Legion. I paint miniatures for a living. Usually for about 10-12 hours each day. Unfortunately, this means I don't have as much time to paint my own miniatures as I would like, so I tend to have to speed paint my own armies Generally, I manage a kill-point or two a week for myself, painting during lunch-breaks and for half an hour before and after work. At the same time, I paint more than 100 (usually closer to 300) miniatures a month for other people, painted to a high-end tabletop standard (for low-end tabletop prices, seemingly).

I play an Imperial Guard traitor army in 40K (all speed-painted, two-three hours per ten man squad or single vehicle), having recently sold off all my old Space Marines. I've been around since 1988, and while I reckon 40K has gotten better with every edition since 2nd, I still prefer WBF 3rd over the later editions by a long way. I'm also into Empire of the Dead, Blood Bowl, AE-WWII and 15mm skirmish gaming.

Check out my painting blog: www.leadlegion.com (otherwise known as a shameless self-plug) and my wargaming blog, http://terminusomegamass.blogspot.co.uk/

Thanks to inmygravenimage for inviting me to DakkaDakka. It's a great site. I really had no idea....

Mostly, on my phone.

We are basically awesome. Not sure what g3 folk are here: andrewgpaul, erithromycin (drew) and metropolis (Ron). Enjoy the madness ( and stay out of OT, it's a madhouse). If you like it here, I heartily recommend becoming a DCM (dakka contributing member).

Thanks Graven. I'll look them up.

By the way, for everyone out there who just raised an eyebrow (or three) g3 stands for Glasgow Gaming Group. In this context anyway.
