just a theory at this point, but im working on a 2k 'cron list.

anyway, im currently at 1965pts, and am unsure what to add. i want to stay with a shooting list mainly, although i do have some melee.

Necron list

HQ: = 360
overlord, w/warscythe, command barge = 180
overlord, w/warscythe, command barge = 180

Troops = 510
10 immortals w/tesla = 170
10 immortals w/tesla = 170

triarch stalker w/twl hev gauss cannon = 165

so the immortals come through the lith, when i need them, and otherwise the monoliths and triarchs advance and shoot like crazy. the overlorsd hang back, and eventually will flank and use sweep attacks the immortals are there to claim objectives and provide fire support where needed.

anyway, im wondering how the list will do, if it has any glaring holes, and how to fill the last 35pts?

Yer, I think being as you have that exact number of points and all that twin linked you might as well throw the extra s8 weapon in

I would drop a mono and grab a full sized, pimped out, Wraith unit for some counter assault.

i would take out 1 monolith and 1 immortal squad and leave the immortals sit back and shoot with gauss but when a monolith is in place (if your dp) then teloport one of them or both of them to that monolith insta support and the walkers will snipe and make things tl for you >:3 but you have to dp the monolith's or 1 of them and i would add cryptecks and lords for ress orb and some supporty things say 4 crypteks with the solar pulse and veil of darkness and lord in 1 squad would be nice im just blabbering on now just do what ever you want

so if i loose a monolith and an immortal squad, that frees up 370 pts, plus the 35 i had before for a 405pt spree.

with that i could add:
2x courts w/ rez orb lord, and veiltek each = 250
then with the remaining 155 i can pick up 3 wraiths with whip coils and particle beamers for 150. leaving me 5pts short of 2k. so list would be:

HQ: = 580
overlord, w/warscythe, command barge = 180
overlord, w/warscythe, command barge = 180
court A: lord w/ rez orb, warscythe, cryptek w/ eldrich lance = 110
court B: lord w/ rez orb, warscythe, cryptek w/ eldrich lance = 110

triarch stalker w/twl hev gauss cannon = 165

and......im still 35 pts short lol. i think i want to keep the 3 liths and immortals, simply because it adds a pretty hardcore target saturation element. maybe i could loose one of the immortal squads, but that would leave only 2 scoring units...pretty much against my normal troop heavy armies. im also not sure how well 3 wraiths will do in my shooty list : /

warriors are there mainly as objective grabbers and bodies, and maybe draw some fire or inflict some casualties. i figured they dont loose too much from immortals, in the shooting end of things, and thats what they are gonna do. plus with the 9 wraiths i have decent anti infantry, the overlord can do sweeping anti tank, and maybe support in CC, the stalkers do the long range twin linked thing and the liths are just gigantic fire magnets and wall of doom. having fought 1 monolith - its a pain... i can only imagine what THREE will do.... muahhahaha!!

The thing about stalkers is im a big fan of targeting relay. Had a list of 5 lance teks in a ghost ark supported by a stalker with twin linked gauss. Pretty much melt anything they looked at within 36"
