FB per 3 stealths. Having said that, that's a pricey melta-wep. 90+ points for one shot.

The times I run Stealths are all
BCs, dedicated to killing troops from 18+ inches away, ensuring a far longer life-span than <6" and then
JSJ to <12" for the
FB's double Pen roll on a tank.

Because 5e made transports and vehicles far more resilient than they were in 4e.

FBs ... but I like to start on the table with all my guns, so Reserve goofery doesn't hose me if the suits arrive by Turn 4 or 5.

I'd advocate b-sides and more suits, not that Railheads aren't great nor piranhas, just that XV88s and XV8s are better.
1k is a good level for tau, lotsa room for XV8s to
JSJ and stay safe long enough to immobilize the enemy and then blow away troops.
