Hi all,

firstly sorry for spaming the site with this, I normally don't do it (anymore ). But I thought as there was free stuff on offer some people might like to know about it.

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/happy-birthday-frontline-gamer.html

For those who don't want to follow the link here's whats up for grabs:

All the Heavy Gear Blitz rules and expansion books in PDF form (roughly £63 or $100US)
The Prefecture of Ryu Starter Set and Tenshi from the Game Bushido (roughly £35 or $55US)
Some stuff form Sarissa Precision (exact quantity and type of stuff not yet known)
A signed copy of the Freebooter's Fate Rulebook (Gawd only knows, but an unsigned copy goes for roughly £25 or $40)
Studio McVey... erm ... stuff. Mike has yet to decide what he wants to send, but he promises it'll be good.
The yet to be released Vore from the BaneLegions range, trust me it looks awesome (£59.99 or $95)
Jeff Wilhelm at Dragon Forge Designs has also agreed to donate $100US of store credit (£63)
Ronnie Renton at Mantic has kindly donated all 3 Dwarf kings Hold Games and got Jake to sign them (£89.99 or $142, God knows whether Jake vandalising them will add any value)

So if any of those prizes seem like they might interest you then you might want to take a look at the Blog article I've linked. And thanks for letting me take up some of your time.

Cheers

Frontline Gamer

Very good and very informative about your persepctive on the gaming industry.

Thanks.

Adam's Motto: Paint, Create, Play, but above all, have fun. -and for something silly below-

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.

Your blog has been a breath of fresh air amongst that side of the internet and I've really enjoyed reading it! I'm amazed that has been a year already, doesn't time fly..

Anyway, keep up the good work!

PS: And your Infinity articles were awesome by the way, and persuaded me to get into that game. Thoroughly recommend them to anyone who hasn't read them.

I'll probably never live down missing this point but how do you actually "follow" in a way the blog's owner can measure?

@Pacific, thanks buddy. Always good to hear from you in the comments section!!! I'll try to keep up the good work and I've got hopefully some pretty good Infinity content going up soon... well if I manage to get my backside in gear this week and finish them that is!!!

@ThomasPolder, lol. Don't worry about it, when I started writing my Blog a wasn't sure of that myself. Genuinely. It took nearly two years of people nagging me to start a Blog for me to get round to doing it. I actually wrote an article on how to follow Blogs, believe it or not, for when I gave away a BaneLegions Krull model:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/how-to-enter-prize-giveaways-on-this.html

The gist of it is this, if you have a Google, Twitter, Yahoo, AIM, Netlog, Open ID or Blogger account you can publicly follow a Blog and the author will know. I think it has something to do with faeries or pixie dust, I'm not quite sure.

Hmm... that's bizarre. I use Firefox 12.0. I may have to investigate further. Thanks for the heads up!!!

Right I managed to get to the 500 follower mark so that means my first prize draw for the Heavy Gear Blitz PDF rulebooks is up on my Blog now:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/500-followers-time-for-prize-draw.html

But for those of you who don't want to check the Blog out I've listed the rules below for you:

1) You must be a public follower of this Blog, if you're not a public follower I have no way of verifying if you follow the Blog or not.
2) You have to leave a comment in the comment section below indicating you would like to be entered into the prize draw. Nothing to big, a simple yes will do.
3) You also need to like Dream Pod 9's Facebook page, After I've picked a winner I'll will be contacting you and then giving your details to John Nyguyen at Dream Pod 9, who will check that you have liked their Facebook page... if all is good he'll give you your prize!!!
4)I will be drawing a name from the comments list on Tuesday 29th of May 2012 at 12:00 GMT.

It's pretty simple. Any way I'm currently only 19 followers away from putting the next prize draw up.

Cheers

I'm pretty darn sure all of you who are interested have already followed my Blog. But on the off chance that there are a few 'disgruntled' GW gamers out there right now I thought I'd better let you all know that I've reached 525 followers and that means I'm giving away a starter set and special character for Bushido the Game:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/525-followers-time-for-another-prize.html

So head on over and enter if you want the chance to get some shines for free. The next prize draw is for £40's worth of Sarissa Precision scenery of your choice, when my Blog reaches 550 followers.

Cheers

Right there's been some considerable updates to my Birthday giveaway stuff, and it's got a whole lot better. First of all the Bushido competition is still running here:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/525-followers-time-for-another-prize.html

There's also a competition live right now to win £40's worth of Sarissa Precision scenery of your choice here:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/550-followers-what-already-time-for.html

And today I put up a competition to win a signed copy of the Freebooter's Fate Rulebook here:

http://thefrontlinegamer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/575-followers-time-for-another-giveaway.html

Now while that's some God damned awesome prizes right there, Mike McVey has pulled a real rabbit out of the hat for me. I'd just like to thank him for being so cool about supporting my Blog... he's donated a copy of the as yet unreleased game Sedition Wars. Yep, that's right. I'm offering readers of my Blog the chance to win a copy of the game when it is released. How cool is that? I'll be releasing the following prizes at the following levels:

625 followers, Sedition Wars game when it is released (25 extra followers required)
700 followers, BaneLegions Vore miniature (50 extra followers required)
750 followers, $100 Dragon Forge Designs credit for use on their webstore (50 extra followers required)
800 followers, the entire Dwarf Kings Hold selection from Mantic Games, signed by games designer Jake Thornton. (50 extra followers required)

Thanks for reading everyone, and I wish you all the best of luck if you decide to enter any of the competitions.

Thanks

Frontline Gamer
