The basic game comes with 100 single pose 25mmish zombies

They do the job well enough, but I find them too small to paint details effectively. Granted, I'm not the most skilled painter.

There were a little rinky dinky company in 2001. The Game itself is really good.

The HUMANS box set has 6 different zombie sculpts, 10 of each, that are a bit larger and better detailed.

They're also closer to 20mm than 25mm.

I played a 7 person game with one of the developers and was immediately hooked. The figures are inexpensively made, yes, but they are not the point. Once the city gets built out in any major form, the mass of zombies becoms not only evident, but a bit creepy. Then you can pound a beer and enjoy a very good game. There are some little hiccups with rules, but nothing that some friendly discussion won't fix. I have collected all but the last two sets, mainly because I was unaware they were released. It is a great game that definitely needs more publicity!

The glow-in-the-dark zombies are nice. but these are 20mm figures, so don't expect them to be be too detailed.

The game, however, is FANTSTIC. Just don't attempt to play using more than one or two expansions at a time, or it'll never end.

I agree, the models aren't the greatest but they don't need to be. The game is quite fun to play however.

I played an awesome version of this game at Historicon in 2007 or 2006. It had been set up with painted 28mm models and a massive city made from model railroad building kits and scratchbuilt buildings. The zombies were from anywhere and everywhere that was making models - zombie models weren't anywhere near as prevalent as they are now - and all the survivors were models based on actors from horror movies. I was Ving Rhames from the Dawn of the Dead remake. It ruled.

It's indeed a fun game, I was a bit miffed that all the male zombies have these large ugly holes in their bodies, which looks more like poor molding than other zombies eating from it.

Uh...

I loved this game, until I found Flying Frogs "Last Night On Earth", and "Growing Hunger".

They have a couple of others, but these are the step up from Zombies!!!.

Zombies!!! is straight leg Beer and Pretzles. Best party game. Game plays quick, and the fun to be had is awsome.

The other games, play like horror movies. I am secretly hoping that the new zombie games guys size up. Nothing like using some of the survivors for more shenanigans in the larger city maps.

The expansions are the thing. Theres about eight or nine or so, now. zombies!!! 7,8,9........ continues the fun with different stuff, from Evil dead, to sewer fights, to killer undead clowns.

I love zombie games.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Actually, I have these myself. I have the Zombies starter box, the mall expansion, the army base expansion, various other expansions and also the expansion with the woods and zombie dogs.

Its a great game although I only managed to play it a few times. You basically create the board yourself as the game board of made up of tiles. The whole objective really is to be the first one to the helicopter pad so you can fly out of there. There are gaming cards that have various effects to hinder the other players or give your own guy a boost. You start off with a number of life tokens and also bullets.

Don't forget, you either reach the chopper or kill X amount of zombies to win the game. We usually opt for the latter, seeing as it takes forever for the chopper tile to appear.

I have over a 1000 of their models

200 Male Zombies
200 Male Glow in the Dark Zombies
200 Zombie Babes
200 Zombie Hounds
100 Zombie Clowns
100 Zombie Children
60 Zombies 6 sculpts from from Humans box set
40+ Humans from Humans Box set
?? Survivors
?? Medievl

They need another box set like Humans. The variety and sculpts were top notch.

I've literally used them by the fist full in D&D and ATZ.
At a retail of $.10 each you can't really go wrong.
