I'm just not quite sure what to take in Zone of Mortalis, since it restricts my usual build and makes it difficult to take vehicles. Obviously you can't take things like vendettas, or mortars, or masters of ordnance since you're inside a building. Just need some help building to fight Kan Wall Orks (whose build isn't at all stopped by these things)
I'm thinking lots of infantry and heavy weapon squads to roam the halls, probably with lots of grenade launchers since they're cheap and blast templates are re-roll to wound. Any help would be appreciated.

Well a heap of HWS's with lascannons or missile launchers, a CCS and a lord commissar to help with the orders. and a blob or 2 to hold off some orks. Thats an idea maybe?

Also, you could go with a lot of sentinels with autocannons. Good against a horde and will take down Kans. Vets with demo charges or SWS with demo charges would also help. Good against horde and anything big.

Or you could load up on platoons with flamers and meltas, with that you have short ranged weapons and can force kans to assault single guard units if they want to ge through, die and face melta death
|

His list for Zone of Mortalis is 3 squads 10 boys, 3 kans, nob squad, and warpy the warphead, plus the little upgrades. Boys have nob as well as the separate nob squad*

Sentinels with autocannons would likely be a good option then. Also heavy bolters and flamers work well against boys. A nice set up is vets with x2 flamers and a heavy flamer or just x3 flamers.

So far here's the list.
HQ CCS 4 flamers 70
Troops 5 Vets 3 GL -425
I have no sentinels, wah.
PCS 4 GL 50
3 Infantry with 2 flamers-180
The rest will go into...something, a leman w/o sponsoons? (We allow vehicles if they have no sponsoons)
