Oh boy, You have a lot of work with this list... Do You have Wolf Guards in Power Armor?
The first suggestion would be dropping meltabombs on Long Fangs (why????) and Rune Priest, and taking Wolf Tail Talisman instead of necklace for him.

I'd also drop the Wolf Priest, Blood Claws and Fen Wolves for another pack of Long Fangs and/or scouts.
If You have those Wolf Guards, I'd have something to say about GH pack composition, if not, then keep them as they are, except they really do not need plasma pistols.....

If You want to screw around with kill point missions, then a Lone Wolf of Two might be an interesting and quite competitive choice.

Yeah i have wolf guard in power armour, but i dont want to run that, i want to try something different.

I'm looking for feed back on how this list will do in a tournament with the mentioned competitors. and wasted points, or bad combos etc.

melta bombs was to cover all the bases type thing.

Think of something witty..........

Ok, I'm not the greatest Space Wolves player in the world as I only picked them up a couple of months ago but I'll give it a shot.

Ok, for one thing, I'd drop the Melta Bombs off him. Seriously you're going to use them so rarely they aren't worth it, I'd also drop the Wolftooth necklace as well. You don't really want your Rune Priest in combat, you want him where he can use his psychic abilities most effectively. I'd also give him Chooser of the Slain, giving your army some instant infiltration defence and making your Rune Priest BS5 over a lot of area of the board. I'd be tempted to pick up another Rune Priest with no chooser and Murderous Hurricane instead of probably Jaws, as with your meta one will probably suffice. Plus Murderous is really helpful against a lot of armies.

Rhino
extra armour
50pts

Good, I take it that these guys are a squad for the Rune Priest to sit in. I'd probably drop the extra armour off the Rhino though.

Blood claws x 9
Powerfist, plasma pistol, flamer

Ok, I think that this is a lot of points for something that isn't really going to accomplish much. I see what you're doing with the Wolf Priest and trying to make a hammer unit but you can take Grey Hunters for the same points cost as Blood Claws, and they are more flexible, the only advantage to Blood Claws is the additional attack on the charge but when you're WS3 it is likely that you are going to get butchered on the return hit anyway. I'd probably just drop this combo, as they're one of the few units that you have on foot they'll probably just get shot by all of your opponents anti-infantry fire at the beginning of the game anyway. These points are better spent elsewhere.

Blocka wrote:Grey Hunters x10
meltagun x2, powerfist, plasma pistol, standard, MotW
220pts

Rhino
extra armour
50pts

Good, again, I'd probably drop the Extra Armour but it's not that big of a deal.

Blocka wrote:Grey Hunters x6

Razorback
TL lascannon, extra armour
90pts

Good, same with Extra Armour here as with the others.

Blocka wrote:Fenrisian Wolves x15
Cyberwolf

Not really sure what these are here to do. They're going to take 4 casualties and then run off the board. Drop these.

Blocka wrote:Long Fangs x6
missile launcher x5, melta bombs

Razorback
TL lascannon
75pts

Good, except I definately agree with dropping the Melta Bombs. You can't cover all of a squads weaknesses, it's just not possible, especially with long fangs. If you're worried about them getting tied up by a podding dreadnought, just shoot it, you have 5 missiles. I think that the main problem that is seen here is that you need more Long Fangs squads, 2 would suffice but 3 would be the best, laid out as 6 Long Fansgs with 5 Missile Launchers, no Melta Bombs. If you need additional points you could always drop the Razorback from this squad.

Hope this is useful.

Slightly better. I'm just going to slip in a couple of quick suggestions.

1. More Long Fangs. Having all of your long range firepower based in one squad is going to work out badly. Your opponent is going to shoot the Long Fangs squad and then you're down to a shorter range game. At least a second identical squad. Maybe even a third.

2. The Canis / Fenrisian Wolf trick. This can work ok, but for the points I'm not a fan. You're using Canis to make the Fenrisians scoring and give them a good leadership, the problem with that is that Canis is tied to the unit so to speak, as you won't want to move him further than 12" away. Now you could put him in with the squad, but then if a Dreadnought charges into that squad, that's the end of them, as they'll never get out of that combat. I'd probably drop them, and then spend the points on a second Rune Priest with JOTWW and MH and more Long Fangs.

for a tourney, if you are being serious about it....ALOT of work to do on this.

Only 1 set of LF's in 1500 is probably tourney suicide, such a cheap way to get alot of ST8 or ST9 shots, or ST7 AP templates.

That aside.

Here's where you wasted points, trying to go by your list as close as possible...since you have these figures and maybe nothing else.

group 1

RP - take out necklace, Melta bombs and runic armour

Add one more grey hunter to your x8 for the rhino

take off extra armour

- that'll save you 70 points in total (+82 to reach 1500)

Group 2

6 Grey Hunters in TL Las, remove extra armour

- save you 15 pts (+97 to reach 1500)

Group 3

6 grey hunters in TL las rb

Group 4

Buy a land raider, go TL las and Melta to make up for lack of long fang firing power

put 9 guards, 2 powerfists and your wolf priest in there

597 point death star

that takes you to 1192 if my quick math is right.

6 lfs with 5 mls = 140

1332

+ wolves = 1460

use extra 40 points to give group 1 a powerfist or a couple of power weapons or whatever so they can pop tanks or monsterous things and you are there.

the 2 TL las's basically are substitutes for your LF's that get your 6 Gh's in a position to work objectives....your land raider is your deathstar squad that goes and assualts the scariest thing on their side after softening it with it's heavy weapons....your Gh's and rune priest move to the middle of the board behind the LR to MH the opponent and slow them down and kill some. Your LF's help support everything...wolves are your distraction.

Still not a dominating list, but capable of beating most armies and most lists assuming you roll right and have the right tactics.

Forget Blood Claws BTW, the +2 charge doesn't make up for their Strength and Toughness in my experience. The only thing you'd need to complete this list, assuming you don't have one, is one Land raider...and buy it this weekend...haha..
