I was walking the dog this morning and was passing the time dwelling on the great British past-time... the weather Something was nagging me about it and it suddenly dawned on me at work. The Mulberry Harbours used at D-Day were destroyed in stormy weather.
I've just checked and they got hit by the worst summer storms in 40 years on the 19th June. I also remembered that D-Day happened on the 6th due to a break in the weather as it was unseasonably bad at that time. Kinda like the Jubilee weekend. Spooky or what

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

I suppose our land sharks would be afraid of UK weather somewhat.

Why do you think the British set out to explore and conquer the rest of the globe?

To get curry, I mean once they found that they probably could have stopped.

This is true. Once we lost India, we just sort of gave up. What's the point in a global empire if you can't even get a decent curry? That's why the Yanks are starting with the Middle East, getting the curry supply secured nice and early. The oil thing's just a smokescreen.
I have this on good information.
