feel as if magnus and is sons want to be gone from the warp and be loyal to the emperor again but can't. Magnus is powerful enough to fight the chaos corruption and reclaim his mind. But will it ever happen? Ask gw. Also, are there any sons left that aren't rubric marines with magnus ? Or did ahriman take all of them on his quest for the black library?

I get the idea Magnus is a lost cause. The only hope for loyal marines within the Thousand Sons is Ahriman. I suspect his desire to get into the black library is to gain knowledge which could repair the mess Magnus made when he warned the Emperor about Horus. Just a hunch though.

Magnus and the Thousand Sons didn't willingly turn to Chaos, and probably given a half arsed apology by the Space Wolves and a blind eye (geddit? ) from the Inquisition he would probably return. But thats never going to happen...

i know it wont ever happen. because nothing i ever want to happen happens. Maybe i'll write some in depth fan fiction about my favorite ex-loyalist legion. The Thousand Sons.

Well it did stop the rampant mutation throughout the 1K Sons.

Yeah, I know. Not enough sarcasm on my part.

Magnus is probably the most lost of the Primarchs. Only the Emperor was more arrogant than Magnus. He's convinced every thought he has is the absolutely best thing and everyone else is a goddam idiot.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

That is not the case anymore. Though the truth is arguably worse. His will is broken, he is completely resigned to his fate as a pawn of the Changer of Ways.

I agree that he is lost though, I can't see him breaking free from Tzeentch's clutches, not after he has been in them his entire life.

The Death Guard didn't turn willingly, bar Typhus (well they were renegades....just not chaos), the Night Lords were just following Konrad Curze on one of his split personality trips, the Emperor's Children turned because their leader was possessed by a daemon (then were too far gone that when he got rid of the daemon, repledged themselves to chaos), Horus only turned because he was weakened and under psychic influence and the Alpha Legion still think their loyalists (though I'd say a lot of them eventually turned traitor after the Heresy though). The tragic villain act that the Black Library has for the traitor legions, bar the Word Bearers (well.... their Primarch originally rose above his people and ousted Chaos, but he was spurned by his father so....tragic again), plays that none of them would have turned traitor if they were in their prime. They all got battered down by their expieriances and manipulation by their fellow, now corrupted Primarchs (or Tzeench...).

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

It has been hinted at that there were a portion of the Thousand Sons who didn't get changed and stayed "loyal" to the Imperium. They later formed the Blood Ravens chapter.

As for the Thousand Sons proper, they are waiting for Arhiman to deliver on what he finds in the BL. If he succeeds, they will probably covertly return to the Imperium with a new name. Magnus will probably use his powers to change his body to appear like a normal Astartes and he will function as their Chapter Master. Because Tzeentch will probably take away his Daemonhood if he turns from him.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Wat

Seriously, wat?

Where did you get this idea that the Thousand Sons are working with Ahriman to return to the Imperium?
